Stayed in the 2 Bear cabin for 3 nights in October 2014. Quite a cozy living space with a small kitchen area. Bedroom was large with 2 queen beds and had a very spacious feel as the roof was high. Cabin clean in respect of linens, towels etc but disappoint lay the cutlery and crockery were dirty. OK that was... More

My husband and I had the great pleasure of staying at the Great Northern Resort. Not only was it close to Glacier National Park but the folks behind the counter at check-in were very helpful. We chose to come during off season and it was the best timing for us. No crowds, the fall colors were in full force and... More

I was very fortunate to stay at the Great Northern. The location is fantastic and right near the entrance to the West Glacier side of the park. The Resort only has a few chalets, but has many activities to offer. It's a great home base for anyone and you can organize all the activities you need. I was pleasantly surprised... More

The cabins are spacious and have potential. Its nice to have a kitchen that you can use for breakfast etc. The location is great, very close to the entrance to the park. The maintenance and the cleaning of the cabins could be improved.

As part of an amazing summer week in Glacier National Park, we adventured ourselves in doing a white water rafting tour for the first time in my life and in the life of my11 year-old twins (third or fourth time for my husband). What a great and fascinating experience!! Obviously, the scenario is unbeatable but, also this company offers excellent... More

Stayed here recently for a wedding and had a great time. The facility was wonderful and the views were amazing. We played volleyball and lots of corn hole. In the morning we got breakfast burritos at the on site small cafe and they were delicious. Plus we went rafting and had a blast. The guide was great and he took... More

On our way to Banff, Canada, decided to spend a couple of days in West Glacier. Great Northern was a fantastic choice! Not fancy but clean, comfortable, convenient, and the staff was awesome! Gave our family a chance to hang out playing beach volleyball and relaxing in between activities. Main reason we stayed here is they offered whitewater rafting which... More

Rustic log cabin accommodation, clean comfortable bedrooms, full kitchen. Breakfast/lunch sandwiches available on site. Good restaurants nearby. Drift fishing and white water rafting available with very capable and entertaining guides. Just 1-2 miles from entrance to Glacier National Park and the famous and spectacular Road to the Sun. Inexperienced staff in the activities center (led to prolonged sign-ups for activities)... More

Thank you for your review and feedback. Our front desk staff always make every effort to make the check-in process as quicky and informative as possible. For our guided fishing trip a fishing license is required and we try very hard to make sure that guests know that they need to purchase these before hand. However we can help guests... More

My son, a climber, and I spent 3 delightful days enjoying the lovely accommodations at the Great Northern Resort and the ease and convenience of beautiful Glacier Park's entrance just a stone's throw away. The cottage (Wapati) was clean, comfortable, gorgeously situated, and well appointed with every sort of necessity. Steve and I also took advantage of their on-site rafting... More

My wife and I visited the great northern resort in May 2014. The log cabins were spacious, clean, had plenty of amenities and very close to the national park. There is a train cabin shaped restaurant tied to the resort that served delicious breakfast. I would highly recommend the breakfast burrito and the mushroom sandwich. The resort offers white water...
