for the money and for the room, these are the best option for large groups to the park who want the option of separate rooms, living room area, and kitchen facilities (with grill). Quite comfortable and well maintained, thought the lake out front (man made) has outlived its aesthetic sensibilities. Helpful staff, and the raft trip they sponsor is quite... More

Well we did managed to come back again for two nights and this place is still wonderful, I must say the beginning of October is a lovely time to visit, much calmer with the trees getting ready for winter, just gorgeous. The caboose was closed and we were sad to have missed all the delish sandwiches they sold. A special... More

I would like to say the great northern resort and rafting is a excellent place to call home base for your adventures in glacier park and surrounding areas...The chalets are warm and comfortable .There is also a catier on the grounds Earth Angel Organics that does weddings and special events.I hear a lot of weddings happen here and am sure... We just returned from a week in the Glacier area. On the last full day there we decided to book a drift boat fishing trip. We had seen the Great Northern Resort on our way into the park earlier in the week and decided to stop in. Great decision! Carl Motes-Conners was our guide and he was superb in his... More

We just finished a three night stay at the Great Northern Resort with our grown children. The resort accommodated our late arrival and we were pleased with the very comfortable three bedroom fully furnished chalet. Each chalet comes equipped with its own grill and a balcony with a view over a pond and beyond to the Bob Marshall Wilderness. The... More

We had a wedding here and the property was very lovely. It opens up to two stages- one large flat, surrounded by trees where you can put up a tent for about two hundred people and dancing- and the other a bit of a climb further that can accommodate seating for the wedding itself and has ( if there is... Family of six stayed for a couple of nights in May just before season opener and had an absolutely amazing time. Resort was almost completely ours, one other cabin was rented out. We selected the Moose cabin to optimize spacing, it came with two bedrooms a full kitchen, living room, and amazing patio. The girls and I loved sitting outside... More

Brought my three kids (19, 17 and 13) and rented a sport raft. Even though water was low, we still had class 2 Rapids and had a blast! Our guide, Garrett, was amazing and very fun! He was also knowledgeable about the area so we learned some history about the region! Would def. recommend GNR and Garrett too!

We had Heath as our guide for a full-day trip on Thursday the 30th. He's an amazing guide AND an amazing chef. Best meal we've had on our trip so far! The steak was perfection and the scenery could not have been better. Thanks for the fun time and the fun facts, Heath!

Our family of 6 did a half-day dinner rafting trip and it was the highlight of our week at Glacier. Our guide Garrett was absolutely the best and we loved the way he interacted with our family during the ride. The dinner the guides prepared during the ride was the icing on the cake. There were so many details they... More
