This campground is about a mile from the west entrance of Glacier NP. It is reasonably priced in the low $30’s. The entire campground is heavily wooded which we prefer. Sites are not paved and a bit narrow. We camped in a 27' motorhome and had no problem getting into our site and only minimal work to get level. There... More

Very close to entrance to Glacier national park. We had upper campsite woods behind. Would stay again. Close to town very few restaurants near by. Campfires allowed but it was fall. Not crowded. Town pretty much closes up by 3rd Sunday in Sept. Glacier was awesome.

We stayed in med cabin. Cabin was fine, mattress was okay, bathroom clean, small shower. Note no heat/AC in cabins. If you stay in cabin be aware the only place to wash you dishes is way down by the office. Even though BBQ was included the grill was semi clean, but burners were filthy to the point it wouldn't light... More

I reserved a large cabin online. I was a little apprehensive about this because you never can tell from the pictures posted on websites. Wow! was I wrong. This campground was better than I expected. As a family that likes rustic camping this was just what we wanted. We got a cabin because we were unsure of the weather. The... More

We stayed for a week. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was a not clean - diapers left in the fire pit, but I blame the guests. They have a nice movie selection. It is very convenient to for access to the park. Noisy though: trains, helicopters, cars on the highway. But the sites are wooded with... More

As an avid camper, this park is one of my favourites! A solid 5 hour drive from Calgary, this campground has a lot of character! With an excellent out door bistro to treat yourself too, the campground owners are incredibly friendly. Each campsite is spacious and decently private. Flush toilets and hot showers are included, conveniently located for all sites... More

Convenient, ran by two ladies who provide necessary comic relief when camping in the rain for two days, quiet and respectful campers nearby, AWESOME bistro set in the open air with a nice fire and Trivial Pursuit close by. We had a great time here.

Convenient location to Glacier National Park, Friendly Staff, Restrooms/Showers Clean, Sites wooded and like most campgrounds close to major attractions, a little close to each other, but by no means too tight.. We had two tents on our site, a nice fire ring and picnic table, plenty of shade. Price is very reasonable... would definitely recommend!

The campground is right outside the main West Glacier area. We rode our bikes into Glacier a few times from this campground given the closeness. It's also quick and easy to get into the park from here as opposed to having to spend time driving to the entrance and then having to wait to re-enter (the entry process into the... More

We chose this based on the nice shaded sites we saw on the Internet. What they don't show you is that you will have a neighbor only 6 feet away, sharing a hookup. Our space was very unlevel and a bear to back into. Then we got neighbors who smoked and smoked and smoked. Then, when they finally decided to... More
