Convenient location to Glacier National Park, Friendly Staff, Restrooms/Showers Clean, Sites wooded and like most campgrounds close to major attractions, a little close to each other, but by no means too tight.. We had two tents on our site, a nice fire ring and picnic table, plenty of shade. Price is very reasonable... would definitely recommend!

The campground is right outside the main West Glacier area. We rode our bikes into Glacier a few times from this campground given the closeness. It's also quick and easy to get into the park from here as opposed to having to spend time driving to the entrance and then having to wait to re-enter (the entry process into the... More

We chose this based on the nice shaded sites we saw on the Internet. What they don't show you is that you will have a neighbor only 6 feet away, sharing a hookup. Our space was very unlevel and a bear to back into. Then we got neighbors who smoked and smoked and smoked. Then, when they finally decided to... More

Very impressed with the campground. Showers were hot (and free), bathrooms kept clean and although the site was a tad small for our tent, we made it work. Loved how close it was to the Park and West Glacier. The staff were awesome and so funny!! We felt very taken care of. Our only 'complaint' was the trains coming at... More

Very friendly staff. Clean bathrooms and showers. Laundry facilities at a reasonable price. The cabin we rented was the smallest one of them all: you open the door, and there's a bed! That's it. We loved it! Clean, smelled like new. Our daughter was thrilled! The outdoor patio was useful for when our daughter was sleeping. We didn't use the... More

I stayed 4 days and enjoyed my time at GC. The staff make it work, they made me feel special, always saying hello (knew my name). I went by the office to chit chat a few times but realized how busy these people are. Campgrounds are close, yes it is hilly and the women's restroom had issues one day but... More

We pulled into Glacier Campground in the rain. The staff was so sweet. Our friends had arrived and they put us very close to one another. Which was unexpected since we had last minute reservations. The campground is very cozy in ALOT of trees and berry bushes. They streets are on much of an incline. Our site was not level,... More

We stayed here because it advertised hit showers and laundry facilities. I'm sure that it's true...when there's water. We stayed here for 4 nights. One of only two women's bathrooms was out of order for over 24 hours of that. That left only two showers for 175 campsites. Then, another day, we went to make breakfast and there was no... More

If you do, this is the campground for you! My husband & I, along with our dogs, spent the night here in our tent while on a camping/road trip through the western US. We could hear every word the neighbors said, smell everything they ate, and saw everything they did. The smoke from the next campsite over wafted directly into... More

We have just spent 4-nights at Glacier Campground. We made our reservation a year in advance and, despite their hesitation to book so far in advance, the staff had our campsite ready to go when we arrived. Check in was smooth, and the staff were all very friendly (including the two large resident dogs). The campground itself is wooded/shady, and... More
