Upon arriving at Village Inn, I was reminded of the many beach town resorts that I have visited. It was much more commercial than the lodges and inns of East Glacier. However, the room was adequate with an amazing lake view, and it slept 5. The bathroom was large enough and always had hot water when needed. Kayaks were available... More

If you are looking for a five star hoity-toity snob appeal lodge, go to the glacier grand. If you want quiet, adequate lodging at an affordable price, and on the shores of a most beautiful lake, then this is the one for you. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

I booked a room in early February for August; our room view was Lake McDonald! Absolutely amazing! We were thrilled that we arrived late in the afternoon to really appreciate our location and lake. I could go on and on ~ staff were friendly, room was very accommodating and clean but, really, it's about the location! Amazing ~ this place... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while hiking in glacier. The view is beautiful, and the lake is amazing. Our beds were comfortable, and there was wifi, but no appliances and the rooms were small. No TVs, and very few outlets. The room was clean, and very close to gift shops, restaurants, and more. I recommend this hotel.

We arrived around midnight, so could not see anything out the back of the hotel. As soon as I woke up in the morning I peeked out the back curtains, and had to wake up the whole family to show them the fantastic view. We had spent 3 days driving- and this view alone made it all worth while. The... More

We stayed here with friends. We each had a beautiful view from the balcony of Lake McDonald and the mountains behind. The rooms were very basic, yet clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Very quiet, relaxing and convenient to everything.

No phone, no TV, no problems. This is one of the most relaxing places I have every been, sitting on the porch just looking out at Lake McDonald and the mountains, which are beautiful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable although there are doubles and not queen size. The rooms are original, so they look and they are... More

We like staying at the Village Inn, mainly because the view is unbelievable and to obtain a unit with a kitchenette for $189/night in the park is a deal. Also, the West Glacier location makes it convenient to rafting, outfitters, golf and other things to do outside the park. Plus it is a short drive into Whitefish, Kalispell and Columbia... More

Insane view. Great Montanan toiletries. Comfortable and clean. Quiet. Good hot shower. Spent 7 nights here in July. The daily cleaning was a little sporadic, but not a huge problem for me. Will definitely stay here again!

As most reviewers have stated, the view is stunning. Even if the rooms were not clean and comfortable, which they were, this would still be the place to stay in West Glacier. My wife and I stayed there for three nights in late June and we had a wonderful time. All rooms face the lake and there is a shared... More
