Got in reservations here pretty late in the process ( guess we got lucky ) The view from our room was outstanding. Words fall short in able to describe the view . The rooms are nice and comfortable. The ability to connect to wifi also helps if needed - though once you visit this place you don't really feel like... More

We made reservations in January for the end of August, and only a two room was left, so we rented it, not expecting much in the way of the hotel. The hotel was built in 1956, I believe, and other than a microwave, nut much has been done since then. There was a stove, refrigerator, and coffee maker. The kitchen... More

Loved Village Inn At Apgar!! Unfortunately we arrived late in the evening, and had to check out the very next day, but would definitely go back!!! We stayed in room 81, family room, 2 doubles and a twin. Comfortable beds & pillows, very friendly staff, helpful with information & hikes!! Free coffee & free WIFI!! And right up the street... We stayed here for the location on Lake McDonald, and the chairs outside the room on the long verandah overlooking the lake. If we'd had a larger room we would have been much happier...Our standard room, with its two twin beds was incredibly cramped - maybe ten feet wide and 15 feet long. The bathroom was cramped as well, with... More

I wish my husband and I could have stayed more than one night, but they were booked. Our room was on the top floor on the end and it was cute and clean as a whistle! The view (as everyone says) is stunning. I also enjoyed being in Apgar-it's a cute little place. The gal checking us in was very... More

Basic accommodations with a million dollar view. A good place to flop and shower. Friendly staff, central location. Don't expect luxury, Do expect to be amazed at the location. Located near the Going-to-the-sun highway.

stayed there one night after hiking out from Sperry Chalet. AM sun rise was beautiful. Two bedrooms worked well for two couples. Front office staff was helpful finding place to eat within walking distance.

Our first two nights of the trip were spent here. The view is spectacular! The room is not. Our room included two bedrooms which worked well for us but there was a terrible odor - bad enough we bought incense to try and deal with the smell. Had an upstairs room - the view was fabulous and had no problem... More

One can hope that the new lessee, the Xanterra Co., will consider remodeling the dated 1950s room interiors! As is one pays for the view, the rooms are way overpriced. Dark and stuffy! Not much palatable food within walking distance. Better to stay at the Lodge. UHH

The view from the room and the deck/balcony outside our room was the most spectacular of any accommodation I have ever stayed at. The Inn sits at the west end of Lake McDonald with a perfect view of the lake and the majestic mountains surrounding it. Every room has this view and every room is within "spitting distance" of the... More
