Stayed here while on the west side of Glacier and thought it was a good value for the location. No frills,no TV, no telephone a basic room but clean. If you are looking for full service accommodations this may not be the place for you. Our room was in the back section of the property which had picnic tables overlooking... more

We spent 5 nights in Cabin 32 and 2 nights in Cabin 31 and I would highly recommend any of the cabines for any length of stay. Our hosts live on site and they are very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations about the park. The cabines are about a third of a mile from the main motel in... more

We spent 5 nights in cabin # 29 at the West Glacier Motel during July, 2008. The motel has 5 cabins about a quarter mile up the road from the motel units. The motel units are VERY basic and no frills, but the cabins are a great deal for the money and offer views and relative peace & quiet. These... more

Don't expect much from this motel. It is right near the park gate and has very minimal amenities. I think that this place is only open seasonal. There are no TVs, air conditioning, fridges, coffee pots or any such common things one may expect to find. It is a bed in a very small and VERY dated room. I don't... more

This is without doubt an extremely amazing place. We spent the first night there (which was meant to be the only night) and we ended up spending a further 2 nights in the cabin and moved to another one jsut so we could stay an extra 3rd night. The 3 familys we met did likewise and the staff did as... more

We had a very bad night's stay in one of the motel rooms. Partially to blame was the warm weather and there wasn't so much as a fan available. The walls were paper thin and we were head to head with a snorer. The train went by all night. The room was too near a gravel road that had traffic... more

We stayed here one night before leaving Glacier National Park. This motel was the height of cool when decorated, but that was probably done before I was born. The rooms have vinyl wood colored paneling, and the bathrooms are small. BUT the room was cheap, clean, and comfortable. Who comes to Glacier National Park to sit in their hotel anyway?... more

Rustic setting. We stayed in rooms above main motel site. We liked the view of the river(view not from rooms) room ok.. The shower however was way too small. A large person would have trouble getting in without hitting the faucet, even turning you will hit the faucet sending the water to full cold/ hot. Doing it again we would... more
