This property has the perfect access to the West entrance to Glacier National Park, making it a good choice for basing my photography tours. Chuckie, the gal at the front desk and all around helper we awesome, friendly and accommodating. The owner granted us permission to leave one of your cars there while we ventured north to Banff National Park... More

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are clean, comfortable, like an old fashion cabin in the woods. No frills but clean. Located on Hwy 2, across from the Amtrak station. Gets a bit noisy when the trains come through. Great cafe on the property and fantastic food. Wifi is available. And it's convenient for going into Glacier National Park.

It's a place with a bed and a shower and not much more, but that was all we needed. There aren't any high-end hotels in the area other than, perhaps, the Lake McDonald Lodge in Glacier Park, and I wouldn't describe that as high end but it is a cool place. We could get into the Glacier Highland Resort on... More

I needed a place to stay in West Glacier under last-minute circumstances, and Glacier Highland Resort was clean, comfortable enough, and staffed by friendly folks. It was just what it needed to be, and nothing more. There are no frills here - no coffee pots or fridges in the room, A/C in only select rooms, and furnishings/finishes that are far... More

Quaint small motel/hotel. Friendly staff and attached restaurant. Not expensive and not a chain but a good place to stay to interact get into Glacier park. Rooms have wooden paneling and old school bathrooms with medicine cabinets. Air conditioning were box fans! (it's not very hot anyway--no need for AC in this part of Montana) -- my group and I... We stayed only one night here. It was the height of the tourist season and all motels were full. The room was large and seemed clean. The tv didn't work and there was no refrigerator or microwave. There was a train track right across the street. However, it served the purpose. Parking was a little hinky. Won't give this place... Don't be fooled by the mixed reviews, this place is solid. We got a great night's sleep right in West Glacier. All of our interactions with staff - front desk, housekeeping - were excellent. These folks are nice, thoughtful and doing a great job. And, don't miss the food in the associated restaurant. Delicious all day long.

A real misnomer to call this place a resort. It has a basic room with no coffee, tv, ac, microwave or frig. Train noise woke us up several times during the night. The place is way over priced for what you get, even in a place with such a short season.

I am sorry that you were so unhappy with your stay at our motel. We do have tvs with dish satellite channels. We do not have microwaves, refrigerators or coffee pots. However, we do have a gift store and restaurant next door that does have coffee, etc. Some of our guests do have problems with the trains. Other people love... More

We had a great time in a quiet hillside location that was away from crowds but near Glacier entrance. Room was clean, TV worked, plenty of everything for a reasonable price. Trains run through W. GLACIER ON a regular basis but we like the hum of the tracks. There's a store, restaurant and gas station so we tanked up, stocked... More
