I've been going here many years and will keep coming back. Remember this a a rustic cabin so don't expect a phone, TV, or internet but that's why this place is so great. The place is clean and located near a beautiful lake. There is a restaurant near by but you can also cook in many of the cabins. A... More

The Village Inn at Apgar has a spectacular view. We stayed in room 75 which is on the second floor and has a great place to sit and take in the view of Lake McDonald. It also had immediate access to the lake. So we spent a fun evening playing on the shore line. The room itself is really outdated,... More

We stayed in motel room 42. The room was small, however the view from the window of McDonald Creek is fabulous. My husband fished every night of our stay while I sat and read a book. The room was clean and neat. It was a quiet relaxing place to stay. Since there are no phones, televisions, or internet you can... More

The location for the Apgar Village couldn't be nicer...right next to the lake! The cabin where my husband and I stayed was small but very nice. It had a kitchenette with a small fridge, stove, dishes, silverware, and a coffee maker. There was a heater to keep the cabin warm at night. No TV or phone - but I always... More

This lodge is amidst green wooded area with beautiful trees and lawns. We stayed in this cabin for two nights. The cabins are very comfortable wit queen beds and a full kitchen. The only inconvenient thing was there was only one bath which delayed our tours. It took a lot of time for four of us to get ready and get... More

We stayed in cabin 51 before exploring the park. We found it to be a small, neat place in a beautiful wooded setting. While not large, it had a queen bed, table and chairs, small bathroom with shower, and a full kitchen that we used for dinner. It was cool when we were there in September, and the heater worked... On the plus side, room was clean. Convenient location, parking by room. New carpet, recently painted ceiling. On the negative side no grounded outlets, no phone, no TV, no wi-fi; no overhead light. Bring a nightlight for the bathroom. Also no A/C, no fans, no screen on the front door, no breeze. Record high temperatures. No refunds for early check-out.... More

We spent 2 nights in the cabins at Apgar and they were just perfect for us. Our cabin had a full service kitchen and it was wonderful to cook bacon & eggs and have a fresh cup of coffee on a crisp Glacier morning. Each cabin has a picnic table and our cabin had a small enclosed front porch with... More
