We enjoyed 4 nights in cabin 16. The location can't be beat. The cabin had one bedroom with 2 queens and another main room with another queen, a dining table and a futon type couch (not so comfortable to sit on). Overall the beds were very comfortable. We also had a kitchen where we made breakfast and packed lunches for... more

We stayed at Apgar Village Lodge inside West Glacier Park. The location was fantastic, with our cabin facing the McDonald creek and lovely lake McDonald just a few steps away. We had a 2 room cabin with kitchen and a bedroom, The bathroom was small with tiny shower stall but was manageable. Parking is right in front of the cabins.... more

I agree with Jersey Girl below- the Apgar Village Lodge was fantastic! The location can not be beat- just steps away from beautiful Lake McDonald and next door to a decent restaurant with the best huckleberry shakes! The cabins are not deluxe or luxurious so if that is what you are looking for, then you should probably stay elsewhere. However,... more

We stayed one night for two adults in a cozy cabin at the Apgar Village Inn. This was the first night on a 9-day trip that included Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton national parks. This hotel turned out to be the best value on our trip--a nice little gem on the western side of Glacier NP for a mere $82/night.... more

I was a bit worried about staying here after reading some of the reviews, but we really just wanted a simple place to come back to and sleep after hiking and exploring the park. We stayed in one of the motel rooms, and it was better than I expected. We had 3 people in our room, and I was imagining... more

I see most of the reviews are for the cabins here at the Apgar Village Lodge. We had the misfortune of staying in the motor lodge portion of this accomodation. Along with the requisite micro bathroom (I honestly think this bathroom could win a contest for the smallest square footage half bath in the world), we can see a half-inch... more

I stayed at this property with my husband and 13-year-old son for 3 nights in June of 2008. We enjoyed it very much, although my son was seriously missing having a television (lol). Our cabin looked out on McDonald Creek, and it was a short (about 1-2 block) walk to Lake McDonald. The cabin was not huge, but fairly large... more

We stayed three nights at a cabin at the Apgar Village Lodge. The location was wonderful. We could just take a few steps and be right at Lake McDonald. Also, the village surrounding the cabins offered some good places to eat (especially for being inside the park) and some reasonably priced shopping areas (for being inside a park). There were... more

The last two nights on our 12-day Glacier/Waterton Lakes National Parks adventure were spent in cabin #10 at Apgar Village Lodge near West Glacier. The cabin was very cozy, had two double beds, a kitchen table and cooking/eating supplies including a coffee maker. It was extremely quiet. And yes...it did have a TV that only got one station on rabbit... more

These comments only apply to cabin # 53, where I stayed for three nights in late June. The most obvious shortcoming was the world's tiniest shower. Barely enough room to turn around in. And I'm not that big or tall. Anyone over about 5' 10" would have to bend over with their rear outside the shower in order to wash... more
