Two medicine doesn't disappoint - great camping, location, views, activities, and more. The drawback is the stress of securing a spot in the first come/first serve competition. Not every day is as busy as others, but there are many days the campground is full before the 12pm checkout time. The nps site does have a campground status page and if... More

Beautiful setting, not as crowded as some of the other spots, although it does fill daily. Easy access to lots of great hiking, useful general store 1/2 mile away, nice paddling on the lake - great Glacier camping option

We chose this campground because it's not as busy as Many Glacier or St Mary. It also offers the same stunning beauty. On a Wednesday morning at about 10 we got there and it was filling up but we had no trouble getting an AMAZING spot. It was site #56. It was the most private site in the whole campground.... More

The guidebooks ring true; the Two Medicine Lake Campground is a fantastic location for a few days in one of our most amazing national parks. There are multiple trails of varying difficulty right out of the campground. We celebrated our wedding anniversary by climbing up to the Continental Divide and then down to the NPS boat dock for a ride... More

This was our first foray into Glacier and the location is absolutely outstanding! We got there in mid-July and had to get there early to get a site. The location is fantastic next to Pray Lake. The campground is very handy for a number of trail heads. The campground is quiet, but the sites are not great for tent camping.... More

We drove over from Fish Creek to find a site for the remaining four nights of our trip. Everyone told us that Many Glacier was to place to stay. However, upon pulling into Two Medicine, we were in awe of the beauty and peacefulness of the area. The Two Medicine campground is the best in all of Glacier in my... More

We didn't take a hiking trail from here, just the driving (our first foray into the park). But it was very scenic and not crowded at all. Because of its location, you won't see this part anywhere else either. It's also very underrated. It's on the SE part of the Park. You'll be happy not to miss it and it's... More

Just kidding but it sure did rain torrents while we were there. What a beautiful place. Doesn't get much better. Glacier is such a wonderful park to visit. And Two Medicine has everything that's great about the rest of Glacier - mountains, lake, trees, snow fields, trails, on and on. We camped there two nights in mid June along the... More

This is one of the best drive-in campgrounds in the entire National Park System, in my humble opinion. Now, I haven't visited each and every one in the country, but I've been in a lot, and this ranks up there with North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Devil's Garden at Arches, and other similar spectacular campgrounds in the system. Pretty... More

If you look at Glacier National Park's website, it says that campsites 1-36 in Two Medicine campground are generator-free (meaning quiet sites free of the noisy gas-powered generators some RV campers use to provide electric power). Watch out, however, during the off season. When we arrived at the campground in late September, we found that the Park Service had closed... More
