I was throughly disappointed when we walked into our room. It looked old and dirty, could barely fit the two of us walking in there. The walls were very thin, so I heard all of our neighbors throughout the night and early morning. Not very well lit at night. Would never come back here

Our group stayed in two rooms of the Cobb Suites for 2 nights at Lake McDonald Lodge on our first visit. Later that week, we stayed again and occupied 2 rooms for one night. The building houses at least 4 suites, two rooms are on the second floor. Rooms are refurbished with newer fixtures, bedding and arts and crafts style... More

I was able to cobble together separate reservations in May to stay in the park 2 months later. The first stay in LML was in one of the historic lakeside cabins. The second stay was in a room in the lodge. We have stayed in other national park historic lodges before. The quality of the rooms are of average national... More

We entered glacier from kalispell and spent our first two nights here. This hotel was pretty and very relaxing. The downside is not being near trails or scenic vistas- I wished we stayed only one night and moved further in park. Nice to have three dining options- all of which were good by national park standards. My favorite was getting... More

Yes it's beautiful and worth a visit but don't stay. We ended up in a value room with a bathroom worthy of a NY tenement. Thin walls and older beds lead to a lousy nights sleep. Hotel could be so much more with a remodel. The food was good and the staff were friendly but absolutely full of rules

It’s just a 15 minute drive from the Apgar Entrance to the park until you reach the Lake McDonald Lodge. The location right at Lake McDonald is just stunning and truly a highlight of our visit to the park. You can on one side reach some trails for a hiking adventure or leave the lodge in the early morning to... More

We've been to glacier national park 3 times and stayed at lake McDonald lodge, many glacier, and the main one in east glacier. This time we stayed in the cabins at lake McDonald lodge and they were cheaper, and made you feel more a part of nature. You could easily walk to the lodge and down to the lake. Highly... More

My husband, sister, and I went to 3 of the National Parks. Glacier was our first stop as was this Lodge. They had record highs while we were there, 92°! We asked for a fan and it did help at night. They do not have elevators nor A/C. The staff was wonderful and we had a great time. We were... More

This lodge is adorable. The restaurant has very friendly servers, a super pianists to enjoy as you eat, and a very talented waitress even sang a song much to our delight. The bar is quaint. The lodge deck is adorable with all the chairs and incredible views. We went to a fantastic talk the night we were there right on... More

I'm giving it a 3 because it's in Glacier NP and has an incredible lobby. We arrived at 3:30 PM - check in was at 4:00 - the employees told us to wait in the lobby and would not check to see if the room was ready. We finally got to our room at 4:30 - it was tiny -... More
