Extremely noisy. Paper thin walls. Footsteps above. Crying baby next door. Ice machine dropping cubes. Subway rumbling below. Sleep impossible. Smelly and borderline dirty. Paper thin blankets. Impossibly tiny room. No fitness facilities at all, so they recommended a nearby club that was entirely boarded up and had obviously been shut down for some time. Valet parking useless: no in-and-out... More

Hotel is clean and not that noisy. Problems - it's expensive plus no free parking (they charge $25 per night for a valet parking). One night somebody from the front desk called us in the night (2 am in the morning) and left a rude message that don't smoke or there will be $100 fine. In reality we do not... More

Stayed here end of September - the hotel is basic but clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. Although the breakfast room is small we had no problem getting seated and the food provided was more then adequate. The main plus for the hotel is the area itself - there are plenty of shops, bars and eating places and... More

Went to visit a friend in the Bay Ridge area of Brooklyn and this hotel was recommended. Brought daughter and two friends. Frankie at the front door was very helpful, as was Barbara at reception. The hotel is nice - located two blocks from major shopping stores, including Century 21. Paid to have my car parked overnight and then used... More

We are so thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us. And yes, Barbra and Frankie are two of our gems! As you mentioned, Bay Ridge isn't Manhattan, but it has plenty of charm, good restaurants, and interesting shops. We look forward eagerly to your next visit! More

Great staff, great location, great hotel. Considering the ridiculous prices in New York, you can't beat this hotel. The neighborhood is safe.

we stayed with my wife at a business trip. good price of 4-nights package (available only at BW website, somehow surprisingly not at the tripadvisor partners ones) for insanely overpriced NYC. great location as mentioned by the other reviewers - just two minutes slow walk to R-metro station. very helpful and friendly staff at the reception, quiet nice sleep. however,... Stayed here while visiting family in Bay Ridge. Good neighborhood. The staff are very polite. The room was very clean. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. A little pricey for Brooklyn, though.

Great location if you need this area which was a priority for us. Not worth the higher price I paid since it was Easter weekend. Check in was a struggle as I booked through hotels.com and they couldn't find it. Only after I presented my confirmation printout (that was paid in full) did they find it. Staff was friendly and... Had to stay in Brooklyn for a wedding.....booked this hotel thinking it would probably the nicest one around in that area(although there arent too many choices anyway) To start off with the receptionist was Rude! Anything I asked her about I got a snotty response..... The room and hallway smelled disgusting, mostly like very old cigarette smoke. I booked a... More
