Made reservations and was told all rooms are smoke free. Checked into smoke smelling room. management did not care when I complained. Sheets had cigarette burnt mark and towels were placed on bathtub ledge--no towel racks. Sleeping was a nightmare with the smoke smell and sound of uverhead subway. Told management I would complain to the City about sanitary condition... More

This should have been 3.5 out of 5 instead of 4. We stayed here for 4 nights in May and we had gotten this hotel by chance on hotwire because it was the best we could afford. We were very wary because of all the terrible reviews that we had read but it really wasn't that terrible. The neighbourhood was... More

I just stayed there 2 nights. Rude incompetent staff. Examples: 1. The reception lady never smiles. She's always texting and looks at you as if you are intruding. 2. The care-taker refused to turn on the lights in the dining area when I wanted to use the microwave. He flat refused !!! 3. At breakfast, when they run out of... More

Now I don't normally write reviews for hotels, but for this one I made an exception! I booked this hotel for a 7 night stay at the end of July this year until the beginning of August this year. However they have provided me with such poor customer service since I have booked this hotel that I cannot see how... More

Stayed here for a night while on transit. Cab driver who picked us from train station advised us not to come out at night. Upon check-in, I understood why he said that. Surrounding was very quiet at night and I took advice not to come out. Thus, was in the room the whole night. Not recommended for female alone traveler.

I have to write this review for the sake of tourists and people from out of town. This is an inner city hotel that is not at all interested with customer service or quality. The primary purpose of this hotel is to cater to the shady neighborhood and its people, the only ones that really stay there are dealers, pimps... More

We stayed in this hotel 21-28 August 2013. The first impression was a receptionist behind a bullet proof glass. The rooms we booked and paid for were not available, it was late we had to settle for smoking room instead of non-smoking ones. The rooms were simply filthy, despite complaints the baths were not washed throughout our stay. The breakfast... More

We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights in September 2013. The overall impression is very favorable. We were on the 6th (top) floor looking towards Broadway Junction subway, about 5 minutes walk away and better connected than Atlantic Avenue on the L line which is across the road from the hotel. The view is low rise with a surprising... More

Lexington Inn is a totally acceptable hotel, reasonably priced and with average standard rooms. The location however, is terrible. Placed next to some noisy train tracks and in a seedy part of town, you probably shouldn't be walking around alone in the neighbourhood around the hotel at night. However, if you're looking for an extremely cheap and average hotel, without... More

Visiting New York is never cheap. Last September '12 we wanted to spend couple days in New York with my cousin that came from abroad. While searching for a good hotel deal in Brooklyn i found out there were only 47 in whole Brooklyn area at that time. Somehow i ended up booking the Lexington INN for 2 nights and... More
