This hotel was very hard to find. The majority of taxi drivers had no idea where it was, even the ones who were working in Brooklyn! Best thing to do is print out a good map before you go - most drivers didn't have sat-nav. When we got there we were forced to have a smoking room, even though we'd... more

This is about the booking process only, not the hotel itself. I did not stay in the hotel. Saw a great deal on a deal site (Orbitz, I think) for this hotel, but decided to book through the holiday-inn website directly. The price was higher, but holiday-inn has a price guarantee. I prefer to book through the hotel directly. I've... more

I have to admit that from the some of the comments that were posted - I was very nervous because I had booked three rooms for myself and my family and was hoping that I wouldn't be disappointed and I wasn't. I asked all three rooms to be higher than the 2nd floor (because of the reviews that I read)... more

Booked this hotel for a last night in NYC after visiting Manhattan then Boston & Toronto to be reasonably close to JFK to catch a flight home but also to have a look around Brooklyn. Paid $69 + tax etc including breakfast on Hotwire the same day but could have probably get it for 10% less on Priceline. The hotel... more

I spent three nights at this Hotel on business. My flight arrived at JFK at 6am, and I didn't have anywhere to go until 3pm check-in. I called the hotel, and they graciously checked me in at 9AM. I stayed on the first floor, which was very noisy. There is nothing to separate the first floor hallway from the public... more

We were attending a friend's party in Brooklyn and I was loath to spend the $300 your average NYC hotel costs. We pricelined this room for a great rate back in February for our May stay and I have to say that for what it cost, this hotel was excellent value. The structure itself is nothing special, and the rooms... more

I was traveling on business and was surprised by the cost of a hotel room in Brooklyn (Marriott $300 and a Holiday Inn Express $250). So when I found the Comfort Inn at a much more affordable rate, I booked it. I began reading reviews online and was a little worried. Once I arrived however, I was surprised at just... more

This was a great little find! I usually stay in Manhattan, but when I found the rates considerably lower in Brooklyn, we decided to give it a try. This hotel is one block into the warehouse district. I wouldnt walk the area late at night, but we did not have any problems during the day. Taxi's and car services are... more

I was coming to the Comfort Inn Brooklyn Bridge because one of my friends was getting married. I was a little iffy about the hotel because of the reviews that I read here on Trip Advisor. I went in expecting the worst. Boy was I wrong. This hotel and its staff were amazing! The neighborhood is industrial, but all of... more

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times. I am having trouble understanding the negative reviews. I grew up with cows in my back yard so I am not an urban expert, but this is not a really bad part of town. On the other hand, it is in Brooklyn so you have to use some amount of street smarts.... more
