Being first timers to New York staying at Rugby B&B was PERFECT! Sue and Michael were such wonderful hosts. They are so close to the subway it was perfect for us to travel into NYC and explore! They also were able to help us out on where to go and what were the must sees! Everything about the house was... More

We needed a B&B close to our daughter and Rugby Gardens was perfect! Clean room, very comfortable bed and new modern bathroom. Conveniently close to Metro. Breakfast was great- eggs, cheeses, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee and very interesting breads. Sue and Michael were hospitable and very helpful in providing information about NYC and even made reservation for us at the... More

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying for 2 nights at this wonderful B & B. We really enjoyed our stay there. Sue, Michael, and Max were so nice and made us feel very welcome. We loved our room. It was so clean and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was great. I would recommend this B&B if... More

The hosts were gracious and allowed us to arrive early and store our luggage . Breakfast is lovely and plentiful. The room is fun, a bit on the eclectic, funky side, but comfortable and clean. Good value, especially for New York City .

We just came back from our first ever trip to New York. We stayed at Rugby Gardens and it was a real home from home. The rooms were cosy and comfortable with everything you would want and the breakfasts were wonderful - lots of fruit, really good fresh bread and many other things. We were really well taken care of... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rugby Gardens B & B. This was our first stay in Brooklyn. We felt we were part of the neighbourhood on Rugby Road, a lovely tree lined residential street. The kitchen and eating areas were lovely. The continental breakfast was fresh and provided a variety of delicious baked goods. Our hosts recommendations for local... More

My youngest son (aged 26) booked our accommodation for a three-day trip to New York City from 9-12 September 2013, but kept it a secret until we arrived on the doorstep of Rugby Gardens B and B in Brooklyn - what an absolute treat! We'd arrived in sweltering heat with too much luggage that we'd optimistically dragged by public transport... More

We spent the weekend of September 8-9, 2013, at the Rugby Gardens Bed and Breakfast in Brooklyn. It was a charming place, with a host family that couldn't have been nicer. Our bedroom was on the third floor and caught the evening breezes perfectly. It was outfitted with all the conveniences and the bathroom (accessed from the hall) was bright... More

Rugby Gardens bed and breakfast is located in the Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. The home is on a tree lined street that is both historic and beautiful. You are less than a half a block from the Cortelyou Road where great food and drink are to be had. The house itself has character with its shaded front porch. The... More
