I stayed for 9 days (Nov 22nd-1st Dec 2006) in room 412 one of the properties deluxe rooms. The total cost was $395.00 which included breakfast at a local diner.The room was old and the carpet was threadbare in parts. I arrived late at night, and woke up the next morning to find my back covered with bites, the sheets splotched with blood, and bedbugs under the mattress. We traveled there in February 2005 and I could say that it is not really bad. O.K., it is a budget YMCA with shared bathrooms, which are not super clean and the funriture is not the newes. But we paid only $25,00 p.p. incl. breakfast. Show me one hotel/hostel in NY, which is cheaper... more
