Apart from poor infrastructure & service, the worrying part was locality which I found completely unsafe especially for tourists. The morning breakfast was pathetic and the room cleanliness was question mark. The only positive part is the subway station is exactly below the Hotel and its very convenient if you are planning to travel NY via subway.

Was in an emergency situation and needed a room for less than half the night. After explaining my situation and politely asking for some kind of deal the surly, rude front desk agent still charged me more than full price for the room. They took advantage of a person in need. Room stunk, literally. Dirty bathroom. Uncomfortable bed. TV didn't... More

This place is just pure nasty . To add salt to injury the staff is very rude . Very dirty Roos with mildew stain all over the shower. Smell of urine on mattress . The parking lot is full of snow that melted and created a very dangerous sheet of ice ( it snowed four days ago ) When I... More

I was recently in New York on holiday but found myself in a situation where the UN General Assembly had booked out and inflated the prices of the hotels in Manhattan. I'd hoped to get a last-minute good deal but none came up and I was left to an emergency situation, having to pick something cheap as close as possible.... More

This is my first time writing a review about accommodation even this is not my first trip to NYC. Red carpet inn is truly one of the worst motel(?) ever. Asked for extra blanket and they told me there is heater in the room. Broken blankets and dirty carpets. The neighborhood around here is quite scary. The only thing that... More

Clean but run down. Shower good. Wi fi worked 2/3 nights. Breakfast of bagels and doughnuts. Coffee ok with fresh milk. Subway next door so convenient for travel. Got no sleep one night as the hotel car park outside our window was used by drug dealers and users. Car doors open, loud music blaring and drug taking for a couple... More
