If you stay in this hotel, ask for a room in back. There is a truck route that runs down the front side of the hotel, which is on a hill, and you will be hearing engine breaking all night. I've lived in major cities all my life and have never had a problem with road noise before, but this... more

We booked this hotel directly through the Days Inn website. The website gives misleading information. Upon check in I was presented with a receipt to sign and when I asked for clarification, because it appeared that they were charging me up front as opposed to putting a hold on my card, the hijinks ensued. The staff became obnoxious, rude, belligerent,... more

When I read what the other people said at first I was a little hesitate but overall the room wasn't that bad. The room was kind of small but very clean. The only problem I had was it was noisy. I barely got any sleep. But I do have to say the room and the people were nice, and treated... more

My husband and I decided to stay at this hotel and all was pretty decent until someone walked in our room around 10 am WHILE WE WERE IN OUR BED. It was a man checking into our room, he was startled and apologized before leaving. I couldn't believe it. The front desk was not sympathetic at all. more

On Saturday, August 09 2008, my wife and I stayed at Days Inn Brooklyn, NY. We arrived around 3 A.M. to find that the inn was a flop house. Firstly, upon entering our room we were bombarded with a foul odor. Secondly, it was obvious that the room had not been vacuumed because we found pieces of tissue as well... more

Let me start off by saying "if you're staying in a Days Inn in Sunset Park Brooklyn, you don't have high expectations". I was here on business for one night. Starting with the positives, the staff is wonderful; nicest Days Inn staff I ever interacted with. Also, it was, for the most part, very clean and mainly quiet. Ok now... more

I decided to write this review as I listen to the crane drop metal beams right outside my window. The neighborhood, as written by other people, is not bad. It is a typical brooklyn neighborhood, diverse crowd, a couple of run down buildings, gentrification in process. Walking from the train station (which is about 4 blocks away), I encountered construction... more

Walked in, 10 year old used the bathroom, saw the clerk behind thick glass that looks bullit proof with a slot cut out in it. Saw the area it was in that I would'nt even walk in, and left without staying. Also, I was told by someone who did stay that the building shook every time the subway went by.... more

I stayed at this Days Inn during a trip to find an apartment and employment in NYC. I was very reluctant to stay there, but decided it was in a good location and I'd tough it if it was awful. To my surprise, the place was actually nice. Yes, the rooms are VERY small and my friend and I could... more
