This was the first place we went on our first trip to New York! They treated us so well, we were there to surprise our daughter, who was being surprised with an engagement proposal on the Brooklyn Bridge. They reserved a few tables for us, which I guess is unusual, since it's such a popular place. The view from the... More

One of the best boutique hotels my wife and I have stayed in. Been here a number of times and will book again. Room decor is industrial modern with exposed brick, wooden floor and chic furniture. Rooftop bar offers a spectacular view of Manhatten. A bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights from bowling alley bar across the street. Very... More

Having visited the Wythe to experience the rooftop bar, it's easy to see why so many recommend it as the best place to look out over New York. The view is stunning, and if the drinks are a expensive (try $8 a beer...) you can understand. We arrived and left reasonable early in the evening - 7-8pm - and the... More

We visited the rooftop bar with my son who lives near the hotel, while we were on a visit to New York last week. It is amazing. What fantastic views across to Manhatten. Visit after dark for a great experience.

I stayed at the Wythe for a weekend in November and had a great time. First of all, I have never seen nicer staff in a hotel. The urban decor is very stylish, the people staying or hanging out there seem to be very cool, the rooftop bar at the 6th floor is exquisite and is the cause of looong... More

I have stayed at the Wythe hotel a few times, and was here 2 weekends ago for the NYC marathon with my wife. We always have a wonderful experience since the staff is all smiles and help, and the rooms, restaurant and rooftop bar are beautiful. I'm not sure what bug got up some of these other reviewers, but I... More

We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was pretty quiet up there. The security is phenomenal! Your RFID card has to activate your elevator button to only your floor and the penthouse bar. On weekends, the bar and restaurant are really hoppin' so there is a line a mile long to get in, but when your a guest.... walk... More

Three nights at the Wythe hotel, Brooklyn is the perfect location. New York City is great but staying in this area was different and more individual and independent with great bars, restaurants and stores. We arrived late at night but to a friendly welcome. The hotel was buzzing and had a great atmosphere. We had a bunk room with was... More

You need a reservation and arrive in plenty of time to see the sunset from the bar area. On a good day it is simply stunning and you are left feeling rather blessed that managed to get in - long queues of trendy people trying to get into the place. Food was good and varied but the wine list was... More

My husband and I stayed at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg for two nights. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms were not huge but felt very spacious because of the high ceilings. The heating system emanates from the concrete floors - so nice to have warm floors in the middle of the night. We went to the rooftop bar for... More
