We recently stayed at Garden Green and enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed in the garden apartment down below. The accommodations were very basic and eclectic, but very nice. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is VERY small, but the shower was great. We were very comfortable there. The owner, Laura, was very helpful with recommendations. The location... More

We have just returned (June/July 2013) from a trip to New York. We cannot say enough about our stay at Garden Green. Laura and Robert Keith can in no way be faulted in the way they run their Garden Green bed and breakfast. They are cultured, discreet, never intrusive, warm and friendly people who make one feel totally at home... More

Incredibly unprofessional owners. The owners are unresponsive and in fact took our original reservation right out from under us, DESPITE us having confirmed it over the phone for the garden apartment on particular dates several weeks in advance. When we expressed our dismay that we now had no place to stay, they tried to argue that it was somehow our... More

I had to comment on what a special place Garden Green B&B was!! My wife and two children came to Brooklyn to attend a wedding nearby and we wanted a relaxing place to stay that we could walk back and forth to the groom's house and to the various wedding/festivity locations. We really got lucky. One of the owners, Laura,... More

I am very surprised to see such negative ratings- I have found a great place to stay in this B&B- feeling so welcomed and at home! Laura was so helpful and with a gracious personality, especially when my friend was in need of finding a walk in emergency room (hurt his foot) and had many interesting stories to share and... More

Wow! After speaking with the owner over the phone my wife and I managed to book a room for our entire week stay in Brooklyn. We were excited, although put off a bit by some of the odd statements the owner had made on our final booking phone call. If I had read the reviews on here previous to our... More

Unquestionably the worst B and B we have ever stayed at. Coming in we knew that this B and B did not come with breakfast but we were unaware that food and dink , other than water, were not allowed in the quest room. Additionally, the downstairs common area featured a very cluttered dining room table that discouraged quest usage.... More

My husband and I stayed here in April and it was delightful. I am baffled by the negative reviews. The owner, Laura, couldn't have been friendlier and our upstairs room was great. The place has a very homey atmosphere, with piles of books and bric-a-brac scattered around so if you are a serious neat freak, this isn't the place for... More

We stayed in the downstairs apartment and while the bedroom was OK, the bathroom was small and with poor lighting (important for the woman who wants to apply make up). Our problem was the very poor sofa bed. The downstairs apartment is advertised for 4 people and there were 3 in our group. The sofa bed is so worn out... More

I tried to book a one night midweek stay at this B&B only to be told that it was too far in advance to book one night, and that should someone else want the room for a longer stay they would not wish to turn that person away. The suggestion was that I wait until nearer my visit and provided... More
