Foremost, the location of this place is horrid. If you don't enjoy a bit of walking through a ghetto region that smells putrid, don't come here; in fact, even if you like walking, don't come here. The subway is a good 15 minutes away, and even once you arrive, it takes 45 minutes to get to Manhattan: the epicenter of... More

I've never had experience staying in a hostel and this one was my first one. I was really excited about the way how they setup the things there. The guy David who runs the place is very very friendly and efficient with managing the household and with contacting clients. The place is located in a big scary place, but it... More

Just like title says a good value for the money. From what I know this seems to be the nicer part of Brooklyn. I however did not opt to go exploring due to being unfamiliar with the area and not knowing the exact route to the subway. The host was more than accommodating, there was however some confusion in regards... More

As many other people comment, it has a bad location. Odd place to call a hostel. It is more like a private appartment stuffed with bunkbeds leaving no space free. You are told (a bit militaryish) to leave your shoes outside and to make your bed in the morning, not having any private items left ontop. This is alright -... More

The hostel was dirty. David was disrespectful. It was loud and crowded. Cash only and far from anything.

The place was not easy to find. It is a bit hidden and the people around do not know where it is and have never heard of it. I would never go there at night, especially if you do not know where it is. I found the area pretty dodgy. It is not a hostel really. It is more a... More

This "establishment" (and I almost question whether this is zoned for daycare or actually legal.....) is really not my cup of tea...but I will try to describe it objectively. I will never go back. It is an apartment in an apartment complex - rowhome type area on the last stop of the L train in Canarsie. I am not sure... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is a Hostel unlike any other. We are 2 bedroom hostel providing one 6 bed dorm and one 8 bed dorm en-suite. The 8 bed dorm has its own bath and also has a balcony. Our hostel is a bit smaller than conventional hostels which actually gives the people a more warm and personal feel when staying here. We have entertainment by providing a 52" inch TV with movies and game access. We have an area to dine as well as to check up your email on your lap top or read a book. We are close to many attractions. ... more   less
