My dad stayed here when he visited me in June and raved about it. And Don made me feel so welcome, even inviting me over for breakfast (which my dad was also obsessed with). He also took the time to write out an extensive list of great restaurants in the area for us to try. I can't say enough how... More

We visited our daughter who lives a few blocks over from Prospect Park and truly enjoyed having our own space as well as freedom to explore the amazing surroundings in Brooklyn. At Home has three very unique and special rooms; ours was en suite on the third floor, and extremely charming. The breakfasts are first class, tasteful and full of... More

At Home in Brooklyn An unusual dilemma. I am torn between writing an honest review of our recent stay at this perfect getaway in Park Slope and hoping that by not posting a review, we can keep At Home in Brooklyn to ourselves. Well, more or less. Arrangements easy with quick responses from Don to questions about arrangements. Room beautiful... More

We recently stayed at this wonderful B&B when visiting Brooklyn for my son's wedding. The location, facing Prospect Park, is leafy and tranquil. Don and Marco who run this Guest House couldn't be more friendly and obliging, and their attention to detail was amazing. The bedroom was large and pleasant and the bed comfortable. Breakfast consisted of cereal, fruit and... More

We spent several days at this wonderful small B&B and will definitely stay again. We rented the Queen suite, which was on the top floor and had its own private deck. The house and rooms were clean, well lit, beautifully appointed. The location was great, right across from Prospect Park and an easy walk to many great restaurants and shops.... More

At Home in Brooklyn is on the edge of Prospect Park - leafy trees on one side, brownstone neighborhood on the other. Lots of places to eat all around. Grand Army Plaza subway stop about 4 blocks away, with enough traffic and lighting to feel safe at night. Pleasant first floor available for breakfast and lounging. Comfortable sleeping room and... I'm hoping TA will be good enough to forward this note. I see no way to make contact re availability or room cost. The place looks ideal for my husband and me. We're at BAM for a weekend. These are the dates, either of which is fine: 23 October with checkout on the 25th or 31 October with checkout on... More

Over the weekend, stayed with family and friends, in this wonderful, well established inn, in heart of Brooklyn, across the street from the Prospect Park. This was a wedding party, and the morning after the wedding, the parents of the bride hosted a brunch for 70 persons on the premises. The owner Don, and his assistant, Marco; did everything to... My wife and I had a great 2-day stay while visiting family in the area. Right from the start, I could tell this establishment was going to be different than the many other B&B's we've visited. We stayed in the Garden Room which was spacious, well decorated, comfortable, and quiet (why we picked this room). Overall, we couldn't have felt... More

Last week my husband and I had our best-ever New York experience in a lovely corner of Brooklyn. The area, with gorgeous Prospect Park, Botanical Gardens and Brooklyn Museum of Art a stone's throw away, is stellar; it is also an up & coming neighborhood with trendy, bohemian-chic restaurants & boutiques & gourmet shops & wine cellars on 5th &...
