At Home in Brooklyn is on the edge of Prospect Park - leafy trees on one side, brownstone neighborhood on the other. Lots of places to eat all around. Grand Army Plaza subway stop about 4 blocks away, with enough traffic and lighting to feel safe at night. Pleasant first floor available for breakfast and lounging. Comfortable sleeping room and... I'm hoping TA will be good enough to forward this note. I see no way to make contact re availability or room cost. The place looks ideal for my husband and me. We're at BAM for a weekend. These are the dates, either of which is fine: 23 October with checkout on the 25th or 31 October with checkout on... More

Over the weekend, stayed with family and friends, in this wonderful, well established inn, in heart of Brooklyn, across the street from the Prospect Park. This was a wedding party, and the morning after the wedding, the parents of the bride hosted a brunch for 70 persons on the premises. The owner Don, and his assistant, Marco; did everything to... My wife and I had a great 2-day stay while visiting family in the area. Right from the start, I could tell this establishment was going to be different than the many other B&B's we've visited. We stayed in the Garden Room which was spacious, well decorated, comfortable, and quiet (why we picked this room). Overall, we couldn't have felt... More

Last week my husband and I had our best-ever New York experience in a lovely corner of Brooklyn. The area, with gorgeous Prospect Park, Botanical Gardens and Brooklyn Museum of Art a stone's throw away, is stellar; it is also an up & coming neighborhood with trendy, bohemian-chic restaurants & boutiques & gourmet shops & wine cellars on 5th &... We booked 2 nights last weekend at this bed and breakfast for my wife, my two teenage kids, and me. We were visiting my stepdaughters in Park Slope and this B&B was 10 blocks from where they lived. This is not a hotel experience so you have to lower your expectations. However, for a B&B, it is terrific. The place... More

This is a must stay over. The atmosphere, the people and the food are wonderful, and, Prospect Park, that beautiful park, is directly across the street. Many attractions within and easy walking distance. Easy access to the subway system. Do it!

We can't recommend At Home in Brooklyn enough! We stayed there for two weeks during our move from Europe to Brooklyn, and Don and his staff made us feel like family. From the first moment where our food delivery beat us to the B&B before we could make it from the airport and Don's daughter-in-law laid out full place settings... More

Our experience of At Home in Brooklyn was so wonderful that I don't have quite enough superlatives in my vocabulary to write about it. I travelled from the UK with my husband and 3 children (2 adult and one 11 year old) and also my husband's mother to spend 5 nights over New Year in New York and we could... More

We were signed up for the Rock 'n' Roll Brooklyn 10K and this B&B was right next to Prospect park where the race was. Don and his crew definitely made us feel like we were at home. The house was beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and the bed and pillows were heaven, especially after the race. Park Slope is a great... More
