Very friendly front desk. Small bedroom, but clean, quiet, good views and two comfortable double beds. Breakfast ordinary, but made up for by friendly front desk staff, very helpful. Excellent location, subway on doorstep essential for downtown, supermarket next door and walking distance to Park Slopes and Prospect Park. Good value

Caitlin greeted us upon arrival. She was very welcome and cheerful- just the kind of person you want working for your company. My friend and I were staying for one night for a concert at Coney Island. We had asked what was good to eat around us and she suggested a great place for us to go. We settled in... More

The best part of this hotel was the location to the train station and the rooms were comfortable in size. I had problems with my room being cleaned and they over booked the parking which, I think was fraud.

The price of the room was too high, the "free" breakfast was lousy, and the broken ice machine quite annoying. My wife and I will NOT stay here again!!! We thought we were going to an INexpensive hotel. It turned out quite differently. We even had to pay to park our car!!! We have gone to more 5-star hotels where... More

Stayed here 2 nights while in Brooklyn on vacation and enjoyed our stay. The area looked a little sketchy at first, but turned out to be fine. Metro just outside was really convenient as well. A small grocery store was just couple doors down (right next to the R train subway) to pick up small items if needed was handy... More

Dear TDakin, Thank you for taking the time to review our Hotel we truly appreciate such a great review. You are so correct not only is the New York City Subway right outside our door makes traveling such an ease around Brooklyn and Manhattan. C-town supermarket right next door makes great use for small items to full shopping experience. Its... More

Stayed here visiting family. It's good for transport being adjacent to a subway station. Having said that the R line is known locally as the "rare" train due to the sometimes long gaps in the service. Alternatively go up to 4th avenue and get the bus. Our room (1006) was tiny and I mean tiny. Granted you are only going... More

Rooms are small, breakfast is average. Staff is helpful. Good if you're only using the hotel in NYC to sleep. There are a couple of stores nearby where you can get something for the room, including a 24 hr deli.

Dear Cristian M, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our hotel. Hotel is just a few steps from the R train, 25th Av stop which will have you in Midtown Manhattan in under a half hour. Theres a KFC and a Dunkin Doughnuts 1 block away as well as a great Turkish restaurant and an equally great Peruvian rwstaurant. Check in was quick and painless so no complaints there and the... The hotel is located right next to the 25th Street “R” subway entrance; this line is great for getting into downtown Brooklyn or Manhattan quickly and easily. If coming from JFK, take the Air Train to Howards Beach, then the A train to Jay Street Metrotech and then change onto the R – about 1 hour/1 hour 15 mins journey... More

When we drive to visit our daughter in Brooklyn we need a hotel that guarantees parking, has quick access to the subway, and is at least a satisfactory place to stay. This Best Western meets those criteria for sure, and the staff were all very helpful, too. We don't have a problem with the size of the room or the... More
