You certainly don't stay here for a glitzy New York experience. The neighborhood is fairly dismal. Old shops and dated small residences. One and a half blocks down 13th toward 5th avenue an evicted resident is still squatting outside his former home with his belongings stacked on his stoop. The 5-floor motel, itself, is just ordinary. My room had neither... More

Average Hotel, nothing special. Located in a junky area. Vending machines out of order, main hotel air conditioner out of order during entire stay. Tiny breakfast area with only a few food items. Room was clean and quiet. Direct TV. Corner rooms open door into chest.

There was a total indifference. When pointing out a deficiency there was no sign of improving. There was a total lack of smiles at arrival and throughout the visit (5 days) Worst breakfast experience in a long time. When pointing out the food was depleted half way through breakfast nothing was done. It was still depleted the following morning. The... More

The front desk staff was very helpful and the maid was very accommodating. The hotel needs some updating or regular maintenance when it comes to things like changing out the curtains (the curtains had mildew stains) or addressing the radiator/AC (floor were wet near the AC) after it rains. The bathrooms were a little small, but clean. The rooms were... More

Had a wonderful stay in the brand new looking La Quinta in Brooklyn. Beds were super comfortable. FREE Wi-fi was awesome and free parking, though we lucked out with the last spot was helpful on the wallet after having paid $40 a night in previous cities. Only wish we would have known dogs were allowed in the hotel as we... More

Nice hotel for the area. Very clean. Short walk to subway. Felt fairly safe walking day/night to and from subway (all women and teenage travelers). Being from a small southern town, we weren't too sure at first, but it was ok. Breakfast was limited and small eating area. Staff was helpful. Rooms were small but doable for 4 people.

This was our first time in NY. This is an older motel and it shows, but we got such a good price on the room I wouldn't really complain, however they could've had a better selection for breakfast. Breakfast was not up to what I would consider LaQuinta standards, but was ok. They are very convenient to public transportation.

I stayed at his hotel few months ago because its attractive rate. It costed me only 120+tax per night. Hotel is located just few block away from 4th&9st (F train) at Brooklyn side. People might think that it is only 20 mins from the train station to downtown Manhattan which is very connivence. It is walking distance to whole food... More

Aside from it's proximity to my family it's lacking all it clams on their website. We were excited they offered breakfast but by the time we got down it was all take away except for the bananas. We had a noisy neighbor and my complaints were addressed casually by the staff. We had requested a crib for our 2 year... More
