This hotel was about 6 blocks from nearest subway. Subway ride into Manhattan took about 15-20mins. So for the distance to city the price is great. Not so fancy neighborhood. Rooms are big enough and breakfast is basic (cereal, bagels, coffee, etc). Would stay again for the price.

My nephew and I stayed here to visit central park, china town, times square, and all NYC fun. We used the subway system which was so close and easy to follow. I had front door parking the whole time, but if I didn't there was plenty of parking less than 25 yards away in a very safe comfortable area. The... More

We were out all day, beginning at 9am. When we returned after 10pm, we had to park a block away and no one had cleaned our room. I'm not happy. Beyond that, the staff are quite pleasant and the rooms are fine for a price that is relatively low, compared to other options in Brooklyn.

Stayed here in November 20013,a fine hotel staff courterous and helpful, the subway is only a 10 minute walk to 45th street where you can get a train into Manhatten.Food shops are only a short distance away also. The rooms are fine maybe a wee bit small but thats the case in most hotels in New York. The hotel was very helpful for... This is not the place to stay if you are looking for a fun, exciting Brooklyn neighborhood. This is the hotel to stay at if you are visiting friends in Brooklyn and don't feel like couch surfing. It was inexpensive and not in the ghetto. They offered a breakfast but I didn't make it for anything more than some juice.... More

We stayed at this hotel Nov 25th-27th of November. I was skeptical about this hotel because of the reviews I had read on here. I had only 2 complaints. I did not like the area it was in, wasn't a very nice area. The breakfast also wasn't that great. The yogurt was outdated. But there was enough to eat to... More

I stayed here on October 25th. I arrived around 4 PM. I asked for a room that wouldn't have too much noise from the nearby Gowanus Expressway. The desk put me in a first floor room. The steps to the first floor were dirty. The hall carpet looked totally grimy. There was a cleaning cart sitting across the hallway the... More

First, I booked this hotel accidentally. I thought it is the hotel I stayed before 10 blocks away - Comfort Inn. Location: Industrial Brooklyn, 4 blocks from R line and 13 from D, N, R. Room: An average motel quality. Quite small but cozy. A fridge, microwave, iron, safe, flat TV, desk, coffee maker, blow dryer. Cleanliness: The bathroom looked... More

While the neighborhood around the Sleep Inn is very industrial, the inside of the hotel is nice, and the rooms were very clean. They have a free breakfast of eggs, sausage, toast, juice, etc. On-site parking fills up on the weekend, but we used street parking a couple of nights with no problems.
