We booked Emilia's B&B and fround a home at NYC. Never we have had such a warm welcome, such a big appartment (2 good bedrooms, excellent kitchen (and even more well filled refregerator), living room and bathroom. Every morning Donna suprised us with a baggles and croissant and a lot (a lot !) of fresh fruit. Lower Manhattan is just... More

In mai 2012 we stayed with our two kids (4 & 7) at Emilia's Retreat. it is a nice, clean and spaceous place, with two bedrooms and a good bathroom. Donna and Wilson are very friendly and open. They surprised us with their breakfast every morning, a real treat. We can advise Emilia's Retreat if you stay with a family... More

We just returned from an extended Columbus Day Weekend trip to NYC, staying at Emilia's Retreat. The stay was exactly what I had hoped it would be and would recommend it friends looking to visit New York. Donna was very nice and helpful. We only saw her at check-in and check-out but that was not a problem for us. I'm... More

My husband and I stayed at Emilia's Retreat when our original B&B cancelled to a double booking. It was the best thing that happened to us! Donna gave us a warm welcome to her home and made sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. She was a brilliant hostess but also gave us our privacy too. Breakfast consisted of... More

We strongly recommend anyone staying in NYC consider this amazing Brooklyn getaway. Donna is an amazing Inn Keeper and our entire family was shocked at how much "at home" we felt in the Big Apple. After a day of "going" and "running", this was a very relaxing way to end the day -- a short "Q" ride and we were... More

I got married in July and needed a place nearby for my parents to stay at, for me to stay at the night before the wedding, and a place for my wedding party to get ready at. Emilia's Retreat was perfect for my needs. We stayed on the third floor which had two bedrooms and a bathroom. My parents loved... More

We spent a night here in late July 2011 so we could poke around Brooklyn a little bit. Donna was very friendly & accommodating, especially since we booked at the last minute. We were up on the 3rd floor, which has 2 main rooms - a master BR and a room with 2 twins, a TV, and a couple of... More

We have stayed at Emilia's Retreat twice and will definitely return. The area with two bedrooms, family room, and the kitchenette is clean and comfortable. Donna, the owner, is the nicest person and provided us with everything we needed. My grandson played in the family room every evening. The neighborhood is safe and the subway is very close. I highly... More

We stayed at Donna's lovely house for 5 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. The accomodations were large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. And the host family utterly charming and always very helpful!

The landlord is very nice and very helpful. We enjoyed the generous breakfast too ! Great for a week-end, especially with kids (except that it's located in the basement). We would recommend this place !
