I stayed at Aloft Brooklyn last Thursday night. As usual, it was a pleasant stay. The hotel room service, for breakfast was fast and yummy. The room was the standard Aloft spec's. The service at the front desk @ checkin was really slow because they only had one person working

This was a pretty hip hotel. Located a few blocks from the subway (Jay Street Metrotech) and in the heart of Brooklyn. It's in a very safe neighborhood. The hotel has a very funky vibe. There's a Sheraton and a Hotel Indigo on the same block.

I was put into room 22 on a Saturday night and given no warning at all that there was a loud party going on on the roof until all hours of the morning. Completely unable to sleep even with earplugs in. Just shocking.
