We needed a place to stay in Brooklyn, and this fit the bill just fine. We got a very good deal ($150 a night). For anywhere near NYC, that's very decent. Overall the hotel is okay - typical NYC (small lobby, small elevators, and small rooms), but it was comfortable. The bed was great. Rooms and hallways are looking a... More

This stay in Brooklyn was the final leg of our permanent move to NYC. We have stayed at several locations in the city, and this was, by far, the best! First, there are very few pet friendly hotel options in Brooklyn. Since we are here until we close on our apartment, we had to keep our puggle with us. They... More

In the interest of full disclosure, I did visit with the manager of the property about some of these issues. He seemed receptive. 1) Overall the hotel is fine. It's an economy option in Brooklyn. For that purpose, it's fine. 2) Some of the staff is friendly. Others not so much. I expect nice people, a smile, and words of... More

The check in was fast and friendly. The room was available early. The room was clean, modern, up dated and spacious. The location is great -- suggest taking a 15 minute walk to the Brooklyn Bridge and walking to manhattan.

Went there and paid with starwood points, so my visit was free. Very modern and cool hotel. Also very friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. Just minutes away from the subway. I recomend this place to everyone who isn't looking to spend a fortune on a hotel in NY. Enjoy your stay there!

One block away from the subway, and near Brooklyn Bridge, this hotel was at a great location to visit New York and, especially, Manhattan. The staff was friendly and helped me with every issue I had. The room was clean. The decoration and design was rather modern-artistic than traditional, which I really enjoyed. I would go there again if I... More

I had a good stay at Aloft. I stayed there for a week. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaints I have are the housekeeping staff & the heavy/slamming room doors. The doors of the rooms would slam SO HARD it literally woke me up a few times at night. Mind you they are those... More

First of all, thank you to previous reviewers who suggested staying in the bottom floors to avoid rooftop club noise--great tip! Staff--day front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, evening/night staff, not so much! The day staff went above and beyond answering questions, getting us pamphlets, and making sure we were perfectly comfortable and informed! Pool--the pool seems to... More

Our room was small but cleverly outfitted, with charging at the bedside table, great air conditioner, very comfortable bed with 4 pillows, nice shower, very clean, modern and cute. Front desk staff had a great attitude and were smart and helpful. Eat at Junior's down the street for a great, old-school breakfast that is huge and good quality.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. From arrival to departure, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Wi-Fi is free and you receive a $5/day voucher to use in the shop if you refuse room cleaning (green). My room was on the 18th floor with a nice view at night (can't see the construction equipment at night... More
