Stayed in both private and dorm rooms. The private rooms are really tiny, with shared showers. The dorms had ensuite bathrooms in them, which was very convenient. The dorms were really large and spacious as well. There were no bunk beds (whereas in the private room there were) and every bed had it's own nightstand/locker. Breakfast was kind of standard... I can't really complain about this hostel, it didn't blow me away but it really had nothing negative going for it. The weekend I stayed the L Train that goes to Manhattan was out of service which really threw a spanner in our plans, meaning we had to go the long way into the city every day but on a... More

First off - not Williamsburg. Not even close. Is 5 stops to Bedford Ave, which, if you're selling 'Williamsburg' as a location to visit, is where you should go. It's Bushwick. Second - the area around the hostel is limited in terms of shops for groceries/clothing/anything etc. I think a BP garage 3 blocks away was the nearest store I... More

This is a nice hostel in Brooklyn. I satyed here for a weekend and was quite happy. The rooms are very clean, the staff is friendly and ready to help. It is great place to meet cool people from all over the world. The location is good and it is easy to reach a subway.

The only good thing I can say about this hostel is that the people who were staying there were great, but other than that, it was the worst attitude towards clients I've ever seen. Plus the place, toilets especially, was very dirty. Overall, a horrible experience. Left to the international hosteling in Manhattan which was slitely more expensive but much... More

I stayed here with my friend during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. We arrived and dumped our bags and went for a drink in the area. When we got back that evening we were a little worse for wear and the receptionist at the desk said he'd 'show us round'. My impression was that he thought he'd take advantage of... More

Stayed here with my friend between the 4th - 8th April 2013. We had an excellent stay and wouldn't think twice about staying again or recommending to anyone. Yes the rooms are basic, but they are comfy and its NYC so your not really spending much time in your room. Place was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Location... More
