We had a great time here until security entered our room late at night, unannounced and for no reason. They woke us up and harassed and threatened us with removal without cause. We could hear them banging on other guests doors quite loudly and yelling at them throughout the night, which woke us up several times.

Stayed twice here in August 2014. First time, we got a private room from 1st floor near the common area. It was rather noisy, so couldn't get much sleep as people were talking on the corridor and walking past our room all night long to reach the common areas (kitchen and the outdoor area). But other than that, we were... More

I can only think that other people were staying at a different hostel to where I was. This hostel was completely dead, it must have been 80% empty. I was staying in a private bedroom with a shared bathroom which was horrendously expensive for one of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in. There was a hole in the window... More

The place is beautiful, clean rooms, clean washrooms, decent staff and serives, nice breakfast (which is included), a very beautiful outside area with pool table and two massive loungers (which was closed because I went in winter), their kitchen is the lounge and that's where everyone hangs out. .they have T.V room with Netflix. Free wifi, very close to the... More

I stayed here for five nights in April 2014. The hostel is in an old building but this isn't reflected on the inside. It's super modern, clean and we'll looked after... It's one of the cleanest hostels I've been too. The decor inside is pretty fun too! There are lots of freebies included with things like BBQ dinners and movie... More

It's a very modern hostel that goes perfectly with it's hipster neighborhood. They have different sizes of rooms, a cozy garden, free "breakfast", barbecues or fondues on the weekends, and lots of trendy young people. The location is very interesting. Close to the subway, supermarket, wine store, a nice pizza place and a cute cafe. It's very clean, which is... More

Stayed here with some friends and we were very pleased here. It is about a 30min subway ride from the city, but the subway is about a 2-4min walk from the hostel, so it's fine! The room we stayed in was so nice and light- so much natural light which is rare for a hostel! Beds are a little noisy... More

A little on the expensive side but it is New York! Had a great stay and met some awesome ppl. A little out of the way but easy access to the subway system. Breaky everyday which made things a lot easier. Outdoor area is easily the best part of it as we were there in the summer..

Stellar prices, and stellar services (you wouldn't expect the two in the same line). Had a bit of an issue with them initially due to my own mistake, staff was more than willing and very helpful in fixing the situation. Highly recommended to all friends and anyone planning on visiting the area.

Funky funky funky! Such a cool place. I arrived too early for check-in, washed out from San Francisco - so the staff led me to a sofa in the garden, and I went to sleep. When I woke up, they had put a blanket over me, and my bag had been taken to storage for me. An excellent start to... More
