We went to Brooklyn to visit our daughter and son-in-law and needed a place to stay. They recommended the NU Hotel. It was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and very quite. Nice location for us.

NU is a charming boutique hotel located in the midst of all that is Brooklyn while remaining an oasis from the hustle and bustle. With family in Carroll Gardens we are frequent Brooklyn visitors. We have previously rented apartments and stayed in other hotels but found our recent 4 days at NU to be one of the best experiences yet!... More

Boutique hotel clean and cool, exudes a great feel from the moment you step through the doors. Perfect location across from Smith Street where stores are hip and unique. Near Barclay center, a short cab to botanical gardens good eateries. Staff was friendly, competent and helpful. Designs of rooms were sleek with clean lines and great utility of space. Green... More

Very friendly staff. Very willing to help. I didn't feel invisible like I would across the bridge. Very convenient to Brooklyn attractions while a short ride to Manhattan. Of course the room was small but who cares, it was laid out very well with great amenities. Drinks in Lounge and minibar were reasonable. We drove this time for reasons unknown... More

I stayed at the NU Hotel while attending my college reunion at Long Island University. The hotel is so unique - cool and comfortable style - with excellent customer service. The continental breakfast was a great bonus! Great location close to the subway and various restaurants.

My husband and I came down for the weekend to visit my sister. Admittedly, its a little more than I usually want to spend but it was worth it. The rooms were a great size, super cool, and the pillows were amazing...seriously comfy beds and pillows. The staff was very friendly. I called to see about early check-in, and while... More

We visit Brooklyn (and our son and daughter-in-law). Our first visit was after they were considering it for the out of town guests for their reception. We stayed and liked it very very much. Easy location, nice parking option for drivers, easy to lots of restaurants and shopping, and then the wonderful easy to get along with staff. Rooms are... More

We've stayed here twice, and would have stayed many more times (as we travel to Brooklyn at least twice per year) if it wasn't so pricey. The first time I got very sick while we were there. The staff was extremely accommodating about servicing our room quickly and early so that I could go back to bed, and found me... More

Thank you for the review! It's so nice to hear that our guests want to return to us. Always call the hotel directly when you book as our rates vary greatly from day to day so you never know when you'll get a great deal! But at least you always know you are getting great service regardless of the rate.... More

We booked three rooms for us and 4 friends to have a weekend away without kids and to meet up with Brooklyn-based mates. We got a good price and were blown away by how good Nu Hotel was. Friendly staff, funky decor, tasty and substantial (inclusive) breakfast and very convenient location for getting the subway into Manhattan. We really enjoyed... More

Ah the childless weekend!! Glad you and your friends enjoyed, and that we were able to make it as stress-free as a kid-free weekend should be!! This is a fantastic review, thank you for sharing it. And if you ever want to bring the kiddos, we have a Friends Suite with a queen bed and bunk beds that they would... More
