We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a Holland America cruise/tour. This hotel was very clean and comfortable. Has a nice fitness room as well as a laundry room (which we used as soon as we got there). Happy with our room. more

i got the travelocity winter rate (around $70). we were in the old part. the room was nice and clean but there was very few space around the beds so we had difficulties placing our suitcases. i wouldn't pay the summer rate for that room, there is better places for $200. also, there was no fridge in the room. don't... more

Hotel looks pretty grand considering the location. The Red Lantern restaurant serves some tasty dishes. Hotel offers a courtesy shuttle to many places around the city, so a rental car is not mandatory. Front desk staff is pretty bad - clueless, unreliable. Other staff all right. I spent a business related week at the Westmark Fairbanks in September, 2007. Apparently it's much more expensive in the summer, but the ~$70 nightly rate during my stay was an absolute steal.
