Alpine Lodge was the best place we stayed in while vacationing in Alaska. The staff were very kind, helpful and accommodating to our needs. The place was clean, and smelled and looked good. I stayed at the Alpine in February with a youth hockey team. Some of the rooms were so cold that peope actually slept with their coats on. There was no maid service to speak of and only a few of our rooms were given clean towels. The equipment in the workout room is non functional and the treadmill actually shocks... more

We spent our last three days in Fairbanks at the Alpine Inn. It was new and clean and yes there were still bugs that had to be worked out but they were working hard on getting them taken care of. We were staying in Fairbanks in September. We booked the most expensive room. We had a printed confirmation with the price. When we got to the hotel, they refused to honor the price.
