The best bargain in Fairbanks! While the motel is unassuming from the outside and only has around 30 rooms, it is clean (the smoking rooms smell better than non-smoking rooms I have been in elsewhere!) and well run and the manager is informative and friendly. She will even wake customers (at their request) at 2 a.m. to see the northern... more

I found the Ranch Motel to be very clean, quiet and comfortable. The rates are very reasonable as well. I have a small dog and it is difficult at times to find a Motel that will accomdate her. There is a large grassy area for walking your dogs. The staff is very friendly and quite helpfull. more

This was the most horrible place I have ever seen. We were attending a function in Fairbanks and checked the website for a nice motel. The pictures of the rooms at the Ranch Motel were very nice with Victorian furniture, we couldn't find a picture of the outside of the motel. When we arrrived at the motel we found the... more

Our group did not even stay this place was so bad! We found it online and were impressed with the touting of cleanliness and really nice looking victorian rooms. We didn't do anything but look in the room before we left. This is a very old falling down building. The mattresses had a 4 inch sway. The rooms smelled so much of old smoke that we couldn't breathe. There was nowhere safe that we could walk our pet. It is on a very busy street. more

terrible terrible place to stay. the receptionist was the worst i had ever encountered, not helpful, and even condescending and very rude. i don't see why anybody would choose to stay here. the customer service is just inadequate. more

friendly people, nice rooms, excellent wireless, good location, clean, free ice, and a cute little dog, these people have always came through for me, always. I have been staying there for three summer seasons now more

I visited Fairbanks last week of October, 2005, and stayed at the Ranch Motel. It's a very nice place. The people running it are nice. They tout the cleanliness, and they are right.
