We began a 14-day Princess Cruise Tour by flying to Fairbanks and staying at the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge. The lodge is about a 5 minute shuttle ride from the Airport. It is in a beautiful setting along the banks of the Chena River. We totally enjoyed our 2 nights there. The lodge is very nice. The décor is fitting... More

This Princess hotel provided a very nice two night experience while in Fairbanks at the end of our cruise tour. The rooms were adequate and clean. We had three rooms for a family of eight. The food and service in the restaurants was on the mark, tasty and fairly priced. Shuttle buses were clean and modern with outstanding drivers. Tour... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel as part of a package at the end of a cruise. Rooms were adequate but lacked a safe and we had to carry cash and documents with us. There was no WiFi in the room for the 3 days we were there. It would have been nice if there was a business... More

We stayed our last two nights from the Princess land tour at the Princess Riverside Lodge. Our room was very cozy and most importantly clean. The lodge is on the outside of Fairbanks. We still had a couple of tours to attend the Riverboat Discovery Tour and also the Gold Dredge #8. The buses pulled up in front of the... More

We took a Princess landtour and finished with this lodge -- it was a real anti climax! The Lodge is in the middle of nowhere with very few facilities. There is no spa and the local walking trials are simply not worth doing -- they appear to have been created just to say they have them. The room we were... More

This was our final night of a two-week Princess cruise, land tour. We paid for transport to the airport and luggage handling. When I set my luggage out, it was in perfect condition. When I received it at the airport, I was not a happy camper. The wheels looked like my suitcase had been drug through soft tar, with gravel... More

This hotel was part of the first night of our Princess land excursion. If I could rate it a 3.5, I would just because of the outstanding staff. Everyone was kind and helpful. The hotel grounds are nicely kept. We found the restaurants to be a bit pricey. The gift shop does double duty and also serves quick style breakfast... More

Located along the Chena River, 10 minutes from airport, 20 from downtown Fairbanks (free shuttle). Beautiful lobby. Food a tad expensive but good. Portions were big enough that we split entrees. Our room was good size, clean with minimalist decor. Good bed. Because of its location, I would guess that all rooms are quiet. And the WiFi works! If you're... More

We had 2 nights here. It was very average. The aircon didn't work to well, the Restaurants were expensive and menus seemed the same. The 'Lodge' is out of town with no where else to eat; a free bus shuttle was provided into town which was handy. We used this a couple of times. The onsite laundry was good, but... More

Loved the cruise, but we would skip the landcruise in the future. Once we got off the ship, we boarded the train for Denali...a long, uncomfortable 11 hour train ride. Once we arrived at the Princess Denali Lodge, we ate and jumped in the bed exhausted. We skipped our excursion for the next day as we did not want to... More
