We were only there for a quick one night stay. The location on the river is overwhelmingly beautiful. The hotel itself was fine. They must have been full since we could not get rooms closer to each other, nor could they accommodate a late check out. The room was nice but nothing special, we did appreciate that there was more... More

Let me start by saying that we have always been pleased with Princess. Until now. Checked in late and found the room ok except bathroom sink and mirrors looked like they had been forgotten. There were what appearedv to be toothpaste splatters on the bathroom mirror, the sink was not clean and some kind of smudges were on the room... More

This is a great hotel in a beautiful location. It is on the river in Fairbanks which is great. They have some nearby restaurants including Pikes which is pretty good. You can watch water activities in the summer and ice activities in the winter. It is a bit far from downtown if you need that so you should either get... More

We stayed here for two nights on the end leg of our cruise/landtour. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Our room on the first floor was large enough to move about easily and the beds were comfortable. There is a restaurant adjoining the hotel as well as a souvenir/gift shop near the lobby desk. After our morning history tour,... More

Perfectly adequate room overlooking a river. Not much to see or do near the hotel, but it's fine if you need a place to stay in Fairbanks. The best of fairbanks, in order: northern lights - the hotel will wake you up to see them if requested; Museum of the North and wilderness village.

Hubby and I stayed here at the beginning of a land-sea tour with Princess. We got there a day early (had air delays the first time we cruised) to make sure we had plenty of time. We were able to use the general coach transfer (rather than having to purchase a separate transfer), but they did not have our introductory... More

We stayed here as part of a Princess land tour and cruise. The lodge is just okay - nothing special. The hotel would use an updating. The staff is friendly and efficient. The lodge is located near the airport. Prior to staying here, we spent two nights at the Hampton Inn. It's a much nicer property.

We stayed at this hotel as part of our land and sea cruise. We did four nights in Fairbanks before the week long cruise. We loved this property. It was light out almost the full 24 hours a day so we stayed up late and explored. It isn't a "fancy" place but clean and comfortable. The view of the river... More

We stayed there in May after our cruise. The hotel was nice. My only complaint was that being a lodge I assumed (you know what that means), it would have a hot tub like the Denali Princess. No hot tub and no pool. The casual restaurant was really very good... I had the best fish and chips I ever had...

First stop on our Land/Sea Princess Vacation. Do the Land portion FIRST ! Lots of checking in/out - on/off/on to motor coaches. The sea cruise portion is a welcome and restful reward. We arrived a whole day early by air in Fairbanks at about 9:30 pm beginning of the SECOND week in Sept. Very smooth transfer to the Lodge. The... More
