We could not have asked for anything better, from the pick-up at the airport to our last morning there. more

Reading some of these reviews can be confusing. I'm not sure what some of the naysayers are talking about, perhaps there is an older wing of this lodge that we didn't see ? But our experience was terrific. We booked 3 rooms at a great rate on hotels.com, and all were very nice. The lobby and restaurant/bar were nice and... more

Nice place and location, but you do need a car to get about although the lodge does offer a free limited shuttle to downtown and another two locations in the area. The views of the river when you sit outside is wonderful. The downside of the lodge is that they don't offer coffee in the rooms, you have to go... more

This hotel is located in a lovely spot that could have made a great base for exploring the town/area. However, our first impression was dashed as the hotel is quite worn and tired and it and our room was VERY dirty (there was visible dirt left standing in our bathtub and large deposits of hair were left on the floor,... more

We were in Fairbanks as part of a cruise tour with princess. We flew in a night earlier and stayed 3 nights at the lodge. It was not at all what I thought it would be. Picture a motel 6 by the interstate for truckers. The rooms were very outdated, old furniture and carpets. The service was ok, nothin to... more

Although I was travelling solo I was given a large room with 2 queen beds and a great view of the Chena River (which I requested in advance). The bar food was good and inexpensive. There is a hotel shuttle which if free can take you wherever you need to go. more

The Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge is a couple minutes from the Airport, on the banks of the Chena River. It has ample free parking, with plug-ins at every parking spot for plugging the car in during the winter months to keep the block from freezing. It's easy to get to. The hotel itself is very nice. The foyer/check in area... more

Stayed here as part of a conference hosted at the hotel. The hotel's location more or less right across the highway from the Fairbanks Int'l Airport made its location ideal for the conference we were participating in. As a guest, I was impressed by the hotel in that I had a deluxe room that was about as big as a... more
