This was a last minute reservation and everything about this resort was wonderful. The cabins were spacious and very updated. The bonus patio off the sliding glass doors was great since we were lucky enough to set up our cameras and see the Northern Lights that night. The grounds were well maintained, walkways along the river were well lit. I... More

We had no idea what a charming experience staying here would be! Each "room" is actually a cottage or part of a cottage (separate entrances) that are well equipped, clean, and comfortable. We had two rooms, so we were one cottage as they connected. It's just a few steps to the river and you are surrounded by peaceful and pretty... More

This is a great place to stay. The 'rooms' are small individual chalets. We had one by the side of the river with doors out onto an individual patio area which had a small table and chairs. Breakfast is served inside the main building by extremely friendly staff. There is a restaurant on site (which we did not use) right... More

Arrived via Shuttle from Alaska Railroad at Fairbanks. Arrived at 8.30pm. Quick check in then straight over to onsite restaurant for an excellent, well priced meal. So good ate same place the second night. Cabin clean and comfortable. Shuttle service provided by Resort excellent. Breakfast options quite good.

I usually give very favorable reviews, but this was a disappointment. We arrived on a busy evening off the Alaska RR train via the shuttle. Upon reaching the check in desk, we were surprised to find that they did not have our reservation. Here's a word of warning - always print your confirmation!!!! Fortunately I showed them my confirmation email... More

We really enjoyed our cabin next to the river. It was especially nice since there was some northern lights and you had easy access of being in the dark to look up toward the sky. The view was nice also. It would have been nice if they came with a small mini fridge and a small microwave. The lobby had... More

Each room is a separate cabin, and laid out around the parking and along the river. Clean, neat rooms, great buffet breakfast. Very helpful picking up at the train station. Flight tours pick you up from the hotel lobby. Didn't make it to the main gift shop over in the RV park. The restaurant on site was absolutely incredible! Best... More

I booked this hotel via hotels.com, which gives an overall impression of what to expect, but not enough to really know what you're booking. I was therefore pleasantly surprised when I checked in to find I had a little cottage all to myself! Unfortunately, it was not one facing the Chena River (ask for that if you book!) but nevertheless,... More

We arrived here for 2 nights as part of our driving tour around Alaska. We were slightly worried after seeing the serried ranks of huts - shades of Butlins in the 1950s! (You probably need to be British to understand that!). However, the 'huts' were well-appointed, clean, comfy and of a good size. One advantage of being in a hut... More
