We stayed at the Bridgewater for one night in July after arriving on a late night flight. This is not a "luxury" hotel by any means, but is perfectly adequate. The price was good and the hotel was on par with other mid-priced places I stayed in Alaska. I found the room to be a decent sized. Onsite parking was... More

Stayed for three nights excellent staff and service couldn't have been more helpful, great downtown location. Asked for soft pillow and it arrived within minutes. Breakfast continental buffet is good value.

The reviews are right, Bridgewater is smack in the center of Fairbanks on the river, with adjacent free parking and a pretty good BBQ restaurant nextdoor. Yes the rooms are a bit small but they are clean and well serviced, well appointed, with comfortable beds. Noise level is a little above average so ask for an upper floor (it's a... More

The Bridgewater Hotel is part of a chain of three properties located in the Fairbanks area. The Bridgewater is situated in an ideal location, across the street from the Chena River walk and only a couple of blocks from Downtown Fairbanks. One of the nicest amenities is a complimentary bus service which circles between the hotel properties and major tourist... More

Out flight landed late and we arrived at the hotel at about 11:30 pm. It seemed to be professionally run and we were given our room keys without hassle by an straight face - no nonsense guest service agent. Room was small with twin beds combined to make a double bed, 2 bed side tables Good size TV, open closet... More

Since this hotel is only open a few months of the year, maybe they think it hasn't aged. Believe me, it has. If you're nostalgic for the mauve and sage decor of old, this is your place. If you like small, quaint room styles with tiny plastic bathrooms, book right now. And if, when you request a room with two... More

I reserved a room with a King Bed. What I received was a room with a Queen and Twin. I told 3 different people about this. They didn't really care. I got a snide sorry and we are booked that is probably why that happened. When I asked on the first night where was a good place to go eat,... More

We had a very large corner room on the 2nd floor, very comfortable beds and to our delight, a large supply of hangers. We had a lovely view of the Chena River. Only downside was that our room was right above an outside patio area. At 1am a few folks decided to have a smoke and visit for awhile. Had... More

The Bridgewater is ideally located for visiting downtown Fairbanks, and a free shuttle bus is available to take tourists to a handful of other destinations, including a world-class auto museum. The outside of the building is beautifully maintained with huge hanging baskets, and the front staff couldn't be friendlier. That said, the rooms were surprisingly tiny. Our room had enough... More

This hotel is right in downtown Fairbanks and across the street from the Chena River. Our room was nice; very clean. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants nearby. We were here for two nights. We were able to get an exceptional military rate; that was great considering how expensive a visit to AK is. We were told that... More
