We stayed for three nights. The room was larger, better maintained, and cleaner than several other Alaska hotels we've stayed in. Spacious room. Clean. Wireless computer easy to log on to. Microwave. Two televisions, old style versus flat screen but worked fine and had two HBO channels so better than many other places in Alaska on that score. Provided reliable... more

First the Pros: 1. Great location for downtown activities 2. Rooms clean & spacious 3. Hot breakfast bar was plentiful & varied – fruits, waffles, bagles & breads, egg & sausage patties, etc 4. Lavelle’s Bistro was excellent. Very friendly, customer-oriented staff and awesome wine selection. Now the Cons: 1. My room was on 3rd floor and could still hear... more

Not bad, it was very clean. The continental breakfast was good. There was quite a bit drunk people 20's-30's every time we went on the elevator. The pool was great! Again very clean. Parking lot was small, but you can park on the road during certain hours. There was a guy on the staff when we went to check in... more

My wife and I, and 2 kids stayed here 4 nights in late July using hotel points. We had a great time and the hotel served our needs well. This would be a pretty average Marriott property in most places, but I rate it much higher compared to other choices in Fairbanks. The location is excellent, right by the beautiful... more

We spent six weeks in Fairbanks while I received medical treatment in April and May 2009 after getting severe frostbite in the far north of Alaska. We stayed at SpringHill Suites during that time. The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff could not have been more helpful, and gave us excellent service and support during a difficult time. This... more

My friend & I stayed here for two days before a four-day "aurora borealis" excursion to Coldfoot above the Arctic Circle. Our room was quite comfortable with a nice kitchenette and there was plenty of parking - with the prerequisite engine warmer docks - within a short distance. The breakfast was quite extensive - make-your-own egg/meat/cheese muffins, hard boiled eggs,... more

The beds are perfect. You just *melt* right into them. The location is amazing. I stayed in this hotel 4 times just for this reason. The city information center and alot of historically significant areas are right across the street and right behind the hotel. One thing makes this hotel not worth it...the service. The managers and staff are all... more

We stayed in this hotel for two nights using the Marriot’s rewards points. The location is great and easy to get to it, also a short drive to Barnes and Noble which was important to us. I guess I shouldn’t complaint since we paid $0.00 for our two night stay but there were some issues which mostly surprised us. The... more
