This is an historic house and the owners enjoy sharing the stories! A guided tour is part of your experience, as is a delicious home-made breakfast, as well as home-baked goodies and munchies on the sideboard awaiting your return after a day of sight-seeing. Each room is different and quite comfortable. The location is in a quiet, central location and... More

We booked our 4 person suite for 3 nights - over a year in advance, just to get an email the month before we were to arrive saying that we were being moved to a different suite because they had someone that was arriving before us and wanted the suite that we had picked out. We were told it was... More

From the minute we arrived Telsie made us feel so welcome and made everyone feel at home. The house and antique furniture are amazing, what impressed me most was how beautifully clean everywhere was, it was immaculate. Our room was delightful having an extremely comfortable bed and pillows, beautifully laundered linen and fluffy white towels. The breakfast table looked stunning... More

The B+B has houses named after a number of early Alaska historical figures who were associated with the house. The second floor had bedrooms named after important women. Ours was named for "Georgia Lee" room. She was a famous brothel owner, who was very influential politically (she knew all the important people). The room was made up like an old... More

We were very tired and just wanted a place to sleep, and so, we had no pre-conception of the place or what it'd be like. I was very surprised that, for the price, the "room" was like a cozy studio. It had a lot of character and I loved that it had a lot of history. This was really the... More

Had an awesome experience at the hotel. The owner was very friendly and always willing to help with anything we needed. We were supposed to stay one night, but we enjoyed it so much we decided to rearrange our plans and stay two nights instead. The room itself was much more than I expected. It was cozy, had a lot... We were expecting a lot from our stay in this heritage house, but it turned out to be our worse choice in our entire trip to Alaska so far. The first mistake was the room , which was meant to be a queen sized bed in a room with en-suite, but turned out to be a cramped room which was... More

As I read this review, I am surprised to learn this guest was unsatisfied with their stay. During check in, the reviewer seemed quite content, he was a gentlemen and his wife was very sweet. Our check in process consists not only of showing them were their room is but a discussion regarding breakfast, amenities, questions or concerns, and a... More

Both the beautiful, historic home and the hostess are top notch making for a most enjoyable and worthwhile stay. If you want boring - stay at a chain hotel. If you want unique, educational and interactive, stay at a B&B - this one in Fairbanks Alaska. Very convenient location, fantastic breakfast, attention to detail, and really cute Victorian home and... More

This reviewer and their travel companions checked into the inn after midnight. They request a hot breakfast be prepared and served in time for a 6:00 am departure. We are a small business and do not have a staff available at 5:00 am to prepare hot breakfasts. Carry-out breakfasts were offered but refused as they wanted hot breakfasts. We use... More

Beautiful home, lovely rooms, loved the breakfasts which weren't the usual offering but something international and a bit different. Location is walking distance to everything, hosts are wonderful and wifi great.
