My family of 5 (kids 5,7,10) stayed in the suite at Lizzie's Next for 3 nights this February just after Valentines day. Snow all around, but sunny beautiful days. A basement suite with mini kitchen, nice walk-in bathroom, two beds and a roll away for the 5th. My kids were comfortable and said it was like visiting grandma and grandpa.... More

Liz and Ted are lovely hosts and did their best to make our stay comfortable. The facility is unique in that there is only one downstairs apartment available for lodging- Liz'a parents had lived in the apartment. it is really entering a furnished apartment from an era gone by. The furniture is dated and there are a lot of things... More

Lizzie's Nest is a very relaxing, cozy and homey place. It locates on a hill but actually is very close to downtown. The house owners, Elizabeth and Ted, are very friendly. Their breakfasts are delicious. We'll definitely stay here next time when we visit Fairbanks.

Lizzie's Nest is a very comfortable place to stay high on a hill with a good view of Fairbanks right out the large front windows. We liked the private entrance and roomy accommodations. We found the beds to very comfortable and our entire apartment sparklingly clean. We liked going upstairs in the morning and enjoying a delicious breakfast with our... More

I recently spent 4 nights here. Only 10 minutes north of town, the location is quiet, easy to find and very scenic. I had to depart early one morning and they prepared a breakfast to go so I wouldn't miss breakfast. Would stay here again anytime.

This place is owned and run by retired teachers. Our room was on the bottom floor and was more like a suite. It not only contained a bed and bathroom but had a sofa and 2 easy chairs and a kitchen with refrigerator, sink, microwave, and coffee maker.. We had WIFI and use of the phone to make local calls.... We had a nice stay at Lizzie's Nest. Liz and Ted are gracious and accommodating hosts, very helpful with information about Fairbanks. It is not right in town, but just a 10 minute or so drive to anything you would need. On a clear day, you can even see Denali from 100 miles away. We stayed in the Forget-Me-Not apartment... More

Stayed 2 nights in the apartment. Wonderful accommodations, very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly, fun stories, felt like family. We had 2 different breakfast, both yummy. My husband and I would return here tomorrow, if we were able, it was that nice.

Stayed 3 nights with Ted & Elizabeth from 7/1/11-7/4/11and had a wonderful time. They were gracious hosts, the Forget-Me-Not Apartment was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed, and the breakfast was excellent. Not sure why USAFANS20 had a problem on Sunday. Sure Ted & LIz went to Church, but so did we and we refused the offer of... More
