I had a wonderful time here for one of the Northern Lights evenings. They come and pick you up at your hotel in Fairbanks, give you goodies and hot chocolate to survive the late, cold night and give you photography tips so you too can have your own picture with the satisfaction of knowing it was taken by you. They... More

Our visit to Fairbanks and stay at the Aurora Borealis Lodge was the top off to a wonderful trip dog sledding with Kathy at "Sled Dog Adventures" and hearing "Tails of the Trail" from Mary Shields . Mok was so patient and helpful in the planning process for our family trip. The quiet and beauty of his lodge location added... More

The Aurora Borealis Lodge is fantastic! Four friends stayed in the Logan Chalet for 3 nights. We were welcomed with a bottle of Alaskan "Chardonnay" (combo of rhubarb & grape which was excellent), smoked salmon, cream cheese, and crackers - they were excellent hors d'oeuvres. Mok was an super host, checking in with us, providing complimentary snowshoes to use (great... More

We have just completed another 5 night stay at the lodge. The lodge is the best way to have a good chance of seeing the lights. We are from a hot climate and find the cold an attraction but also a little daunting. Fairbanks is the northernmost town with a major airport serviced by a major airline. The roads to... More

We didn't get much of a show when we were there Sept 2014 but still rate the place highly. It is set up to be a great place to view the lights or just enjoy the gorgeous sky, weather, and view. The bed was super comfy and set up to look out the window! The bathroom was a trip as... More

This Valentine's day we stayed here for 3 days. A beautiful mountaintop vista. You can see to the north and some to the south. 2 of the 3 nights we saw the aurora. They have a walkie talkie that they can use to alert you if they see the aurora out and you don't. You can wake up and look... More

First of all, this was a trip of a lifetime, an item to cross off my bucket list! It did not fail to disappoint. I was chasing the Northern Lights, so I chose to bring my family during one of the coldest/darketst months AND stay 5 nights to increase our chances of seeing the lights. Luckily I was treated to... Mok was the best host, location to see the northern lights is #1, but this location is more than that, it is just a beautiful location and view is incredible from the room windows. Rooms are first rate, bed is VERY comfortable and everything less food is provided. We did snow showing and played with the family dog Sitka. DO... More

My wife and I stayed here at the beginning of Febuary for 3 nights. Mok and Akiko were very welcoming and Informative with all the questions we had. We were extremely lucky to see the Northern Lights on all 3 nights with our last night being the absolute best. We had heard the moon would effect how well we would... More
