We stayed 2 nights in Fairbanks at the Wedgewood resort. From what I was told these are converted apartments. They are beautifully done. My only complaint was the 3 stories and no elevator. My husband and I both have heart problems and those stairs did both of us in. There was no central air for the room, just a window... More

Spent a wonderful night at the Wedgewood Resort in Fairbanks Alaska, the room was the size of an apartment, complete kitchen, the bedroom was very spacious as was the bathroom.... the living area was wonderful, large and very relaxing! The room was spotless, it's more like an apartment then a regular hotel room! Wonderful amenities for a single quest or... More

The property overall is simple and quite outdated, but we certainly enjoyed the space in our two bedroom suite! We have two energetic boys, so being on the outskirts of the city with plenty of grounds around the property was a huge plus. We enjoyed having the full kitchen for convenience and multiple TVs. The onsite laundry was useful and... More

Don't think there's any 'luxury' accommodations in Fairbanks so I've rated accordingly. The room was of decent size & decor, (though beds not comfy & shoddy cleaning from housekeeping). The cod oscar in the hotel restaurant was very good. My family really enjoyed the auto museum on the grounds!

We stayed at the Wedgewood Resort for 1 night between Denali National Park and Glennallen. It looked more like an apartment complex and our accommodations were very nice and spacious. we had a clean, one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen and it was a perfect setting to spend the evening ordering Thai food and watching tv. We were pretty... More

The property is like 10 minutes away from the city center but is pretty close to the university area and also to the major highway both south and north. The suite was well maintained with all the kitchen equipments and nice bedding. It is worth the stay at the great rates .....

The Wedgewood resort is quite a long way from the city center, but in a lovely location, there is a beautiful lake as well as a waterfowl refuge just behind the hotel. The apartments are huge, you have your own kitchen, a living room with a flatscreen TV, a walk-in wardrobe ... pity we only stayed for two nights. They... More

The Wedgewood is really a pretty nice place. I've stayed there on business and a few times with my husband for leisure. I only wish our little cabin further north were so spacious. Wedgewood has a lot going for it: great desk staff, friendly housekeepers, large, clean rooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped corridor kitchen. I can only recommend that to... More

Alaskan adventure. It was nice to have an apartment with a full kitchen, dining room , living room bedroom and bath. The property was large so a long walk to the bear lodge to eat. Pricey but good food. We went to the Car museum and were blown away. ( discounted admission for guests of the resort) It was pouring... More

The day we visited there was an antique car show and a wedding. The hotel desk had one person who was new and overwhelmed. She did her best but gave us incorrect information regarding the hotel shuttle. The day we checked in was equally confusing for the staff. Rooms - clean and comfortable Location - great walk around a small... More
