The rooms are very big with a full kitchenette - complete with stove, oven, microwave, double sink, full-size refrigerator, some dishes in the cupboards - great set up if you want to cook your own meals. Reclining chair, wi-fi, AC, TV with cable. We had two different rooms during our 3-week stay - the first was on the first floor... more

We as locals decided to stay at a hotel for a night to escape. Even as we checked in, the receptionist had an attitude. I really felt we were not welcome. That night, the toilet would not work. That was fun. Although we are smokers, we did our best to smoke outside. A few times, we did smoke in the... more

We are a non smoking hotel to ensure all guest have a pleasant stay inside our rooms. Once someone smokes in a room it requires us to take the room offline for 24-48hrs and we are unable to rent the room. We also must Ozone and purifiy the air which is an expense process. We have a signed copy of...

We drove up from Healy to Fairbanks and found the hotel without any problems. We arrived late and check-in was easy, although the young woman at the desk did not seem very motivated. The room (nr212) was big and clean & had a nice size kitchenette, but smelled like something wet had been left in the room for a long... more

This hotel was wonderful for the price. The front lobby staff was exceptional...great service. While pricey, the restaurant and bar were great, the food was great and the wait staff was phenomenal. The rooms were large and clean. Although the room was a bit outdated, it had a full size refrigerator, a microwave and dishes. It is the perfect hotel... more

We spent a week here and enjoyed it very much. The staff are very nice, willing to help with questions and directions. The rooms are self contained and very comfortable. They supply tea, coffee, clean towels & toiletries every day as needed and do a full cleaning service twice weekly, so the room was very clean. They also offer a limited car rental... more

Had a pleasant two night stay at the Regency Fairbanks. The outside looks modern in a 1960's way, but the interior was what I would call "old-fashioned". Reminded me of the large, old hotels in Atlantic City, pre-casinos, with the hallway and public space decor. We had a a large queen bedroom, and a sitting room/kitchenette area. The bathroom had... more

Stayed at the Regency Fairbanks in August 2007. With the excep- tion of not having safe-deposit boxes at the front desk (surprising- the staff offered to put my belongings in a lockbox but I declined)everything else about this property was superb with a considerably lower rate than the other downtown hotels. I was picked up at the Alaska Railroad station... more

I stayed at this hotel on 3/4/08. I was previously staying at the Springhill Suites across town but could not book this particular night. I had my doubts when I first pulled up, the hotel is constructed of decorative concret block but the lobby was alluring as you walk in stuffed animals including full size bear old photographs throughout a... more

This property is sure gettting a facelift. I have been staying here a long time guest and frequent Fairbanks often. The lobby was remodeled this last summer. The rooms have recieved new furniture, minus the kitchettes. Hopefully those are next. The hotel has always been helpful and flexible with my changing needs. I have to often extend or cancel my... more
