We spent 5 nights for our Wedding at the 1890 Caroline House. The Caroline House is a separate property of the Richard Johnston Inn just one block down the street. We stayed in the William Riley Suite which is a 2 room suite on the main floor. Just an outstanding room with a very recent complete update and an additional... More

A very nice period home and small B+B. Beautiful public areas and a bountiful breakfast. We stayed in the loft, an excellent headquarters for exploring all things Fredericksburg. Ample off street parking. Friendly but limited personnel on site. Sherry in the rooms, public areas, cookies and snacks in the public areas. We will stay here again. You might want to... More

A former Frdericksburg resident, I often wondered what it would be like to stay at the inn. It is nestled so nicely in the downtown area, is an historic building--sounded like a grand idea to me! I was so excited when we booked, I posted on facebook and was thrilled to know that my post would earn us a bit... More

Room - We stayed in the Caroline House, which is owned by the RJ Inn and located a block down the street. The room and attached bath were very nice, but over decorated. Just too much stuff apparently just for the sake of being there. For example the bed and mattress were very nice, but it was covered with 10... More

This 200+ year old house, beautifully restored and appointed, sits on one of the main streets of Fredericksburg. This makes it easy to find and close to many restaurants, but also prone to traffic and evening pedestrian noise. The hosts are very friendly, the rooms very clean and a good size. Our breakfast was cooked to order and delicious, with... More

We recently stayed at the Inn for 5 nights. Our reason was to visit D.C. for a couple of days. We spent one day in D.C. and decided to stay in Fredericksburg for the remainder. What was best was knowing we had a "home" to go back to every night. We had the LOFT room which was amazing!! It is... More

We arrived after normal check-in hours so the staff had departed for the night. The check-in process was just as it was described in the welcome/reservation confirmation letter. There was a minor mixup in the room assignment which meant the room we had chosen was not made up. Lindi went out of her way to make it right for us.... More

We saw the Inn on Henry Cole's Great Motorcycle Journeys on the Travel Channel. We decided to stop there on our way to the Outer Banks. There was a warm welcome from April at the reception desk. Our room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Being an old inn it had loads of character. The Inn Keeper was Lindi was... More

We chose this B&B based on the pictures on their website and the fact they were the only B&B in Fredericksburg that had off-street parking on the premises behind the B&B. We stayed in the "Olivia" room on the second floor with an ensuite bath. The room was much larger than I expected and the bath was also roomy and... More
