This was one of the most wheelchair accessible hotels I have ever stayed in. The height of the bed was right, the light switches were well located, the room was near the front desk, they have valet parking and a good local beer on draft.

We stayed on a Saturday night in the off season. the hotel is fairly new and still very nice. It is a cut above most courtyards with a nice bar and cafe. We were greeted and treated well. The room was prepared, roomy, and clean. We requested a high floor and were given the top floor with a king bed... More

My wife and I stayed one night and were extremely impressed with the hotel in every way: location in Historic Area is unique, super modern amenities and design of lobby, nice workout room and pool (small but OK) and hot tub. Nice to order a meal from their menu, nicely prepared and good. Can't give a higher recommendation. Room was... More

This really is a wonderful and unique location for a Marriott. If you are going to see Historic Fredericksburg you can't find a better hotel in a more ideal location. Not only do you get Marriott's high standards and comforts but you are dead center in the main historic part of Fredericksburg. The best restaurants and shops are within walking... More

From the exterior this place doesn't look like much, but inside you find an exceedingly tasteful hotel that keeps on giving. The rooms have been very thoughtfully renovated to take advantage of simple but important innovations, such as: an outward curving shower curtain rod that keeps the curtain well out of your way, making the shower extra spacious; easy-to-find light... We stopped here on a trip down to Florida. The hotel is located in the charming historic distric within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We had 2 adjoining rooms (both with king size beds). Everything was up to date and clean. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Fredricksburg area.

We really enjoyed this hotel. We had a large corner room with plenty of space, friendly staff, within walking distance to the historic district. We wanted to return here on our way back but it was booked.

This hotel is all-arond wonderful! We arrived very late in the evening and were greeted by a kind staff who made our entry comfortable. The location, ambiance, decor, parking, bistro and bar were all fantastic. If we have the opportunity to visit Fredericksburg again, this will definately be our hotel of choice.

Holy cow, sweet place! Traveled there for a weekend getaway and discovered a little oasis. Location: Can't beat it. Walk in the door and you're greeted nicely and you'll notice how nice, clean, and modern the hotel is. Walk out the door and you're in Historic Fredericksburg (Fburg), caddy corner to the main street with shops, art studios, and eateries.... More

My experiences with Courtyard Marriotts are consistently good and this one was no exception. Clean, comfortable and well equipped room. Great work desk with free wifi and plenty of power outlets.
