Was there in town tending to some family business, and turned it into a pre-valentines getaway for my girlfriend and I, and all pre-arrangements were taken care from the wine being ready for us in the bedroom I pre-ordered for us upon arrival and was an very wonderful evening for us and we look forward to returning in the future!

This is not a traditional B&B, but more of a hybrid between B&B and Boutique. It is an old property (built circa 1930) as a popular Motor Hotel on the route running from Richmond to Washington before the I-95 days. The current owners have resurrected it with antique furnishings and a B&B feel. They also own the former Silk Mill... More

The Inn had a NYE party and it was very nice the room was great. The band they had was awesome differently worth money it was cheap for a couple compared to other parties. I hope they do it again next year and keep the band and lose the catering team. The caterers staff where not the friendliest and food... More

My mom and I stayed here for 2 nights during the Candlelight Tour. I wanted it to be a relaxing and rich in history weekend, which I totally achieved with the help of The Olde Silk Mill. The atmosphere was relaxing, the place looked gorgeous and the staff are very friendly. Everything you need is in the room, the beds... More

The rooms look like they were decorated by an old cat lady with tacky knick-knacks picked from a flea market sometimes in the 70's. The mattress was sagging. The room temperature could be controlled only from the outside by the hotel receptionist - so we were either freezing or boiling alive each night, because there was no receptionist late at... More

My boyfriend and I stayed one night at the Inn at the Olde Silk Mill. The old furnishings in the rooms gave it a very historic feel. We were in a parlor suite that has a bedroom and sitting room connected by a bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The hot water sometimes took a while to become hot but there... More

We were warmly welcomed and given lots of clear information about the hotel and Fredericksburg too. As we were upgraded to a parlour room, I can truly say we were more than pleased with the rooms and the furnishings. Typical of the hotel, the layout of our suite was eccentric to say the least with the bathroom being between the... More

We used this as a four night break in a month long camping trip (it is nice to have a full sized bed and a tub from time to time). Arranged to meet my sister (she is a non-camper) and a chance to explore Fredericksburg. Inn at Olde Silk Mill has a family suite that includes a Queen in one... More

Stayed two nights over a weekend while attending a nephew's wedding, also on the property. Room was exceptionally clean and well prepared. WIFI worked great. Pleasant atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Many antiques added to aura. Coffee, tea & cookies available in a room off the lobby throughout the day. Plenty of parking. Inn located about 4 blocks from... More

Very clean comfortable and safe. Downtown sites are not really walkable but very short drive . Nice decor and antiques . Cozy with lots of charm. Breakfast was adequate nothing special but great coffee and I thought it was thoughtful that they provided gluten-free cereal and a variety of bagels. Very good price!
