The historic Kenmore Inn is nicely located on a one-way street and is easy walking distance to restaurants. It is an architecturally beautiful inn with 9 rms. Our room was the Rose Parlor with an updated albeit very small bathroom. Our one chair and window treatments were not fresh looking. The lighting (for reading purposes) was less than adequate and... Stopped here on the way to the Outer Banks. Our room, 204, was very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We toured the town on our bikes and also rode the local bike path. Did not eat at the restaurant, but it looked nice, especailly the outdoor courtyard.

This hotel had rave reviews in Fodor's but it's not that great..still it has redeeming aspects. The breakfast was super, you can walk to the original house "Kenmore House" and take a tour. You will be hard to find more finely crafted 3-dimensional plaster (of oyster shells) ceilings..they are breathtaking. The Inn itself does have a restaurant but with a... More

Once we were able to locate on street parking, we were shown into a parlor with a musty window AC unit. The furniture, not "period" but worn. Our room was dusty, musty, and a shameful attempt to recreate a civil war ambiance. After finding our first insect in the room, we were "upgraded" to the largest room in the inn... More

We stayed two nights on a recent trip to Fredericksburg, VA. This is a good bed and breakfast with good rooms. We stayed in 203, a two room suite. A good bed and sitting room with the bath between. there is s lovely porch and a fine restaurant and bar on the terrace level. We tried the bar and restaurant... More

The Kenmore is located in the historic district of Fredericksburg. Many beautiful homes surround the inn - shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. The inn itself is absolutely beautiful - common areas as well as the rooms. Their restaurant downstairs - has an amazing chef -delicious meals in an intimate atmosphere. I highly recommend the Kenmore for a great... More

I highly recommend the Kenmore Inn to anyone looking to make the most of their trip to Fredericksburg, or anyone just looking to stay somewhere elegant on a weekend getaway. The staff are very polite and personable, and the house itself is beautiful with authentic and immaculate architecture dating from the 19th century. While breakfast was delicious, dinner in their... I stayed at this property for two nights last week, a Wednesday and a Thursday. On both nights there was so much noise that it permeated my room all evening (till 10pm) - one night was a wine dinner (right below my room) and one night a jazz band. When I get home from working all day I look forward... More

My wife and i recently took a weekend trip to DC mid March. We chose to stay at the Kenmore, to avoid the hassle of the big city. We are from Charleston SC, so we thought Fredricksburg would suit us well. We were not disapointed. Wonderful city, but The Kenmore stole the show. We stayed in the Mary Washington Suite.... More

We really enjoyed our stay at The Kenmore Inn. Very clean and comfortable room with adorable decor and friendly staff. We had breakfast as well, which was delicious. Our stay in Fredericksburg was short but we loved every minute. I would absolutely recommend The Kenmore Inn to anyone traveling to the area!
