This hotel was exactly what I wanted: reasonably priced, typical Holiday Inn, walking distance to Fenway, safe neighborhood where I can walk with the kids, available parking, close to public transportation. Disregard the negative reviews-it's a Holiday Inn, so it's a nice hotel but it's not the Ritz. If I wanted to spend $350 a night, I'd have stayed in... more

I decided to spend a couple days in another part of Boston (its my 1st time here). I came across the Brighton/Brookline area which from a quick look at wikipedia seemed to be an ok place, away from the middle of it all but still within the city. Boy was I wrong! When I was coming up to the hotel... more

We were in town for a week's vacation. The hotel was great, having just been renovated. The staff for the most part was phenomenal. If i needed anything, it was there asap. However, one of the managers tried to reprimand my children for running in the halls. While I realize my boys should not have been running, I would rather... more

We traveled to Boston to see the Red Sox play at Fenway and also see Boston. While this hotel is located in the suburbs of Boston it was perfect for a family traveling on a budget. this hotel was at least half the price of the hotels located downtown. We purchased 7 day passes on the Boston transportation system and... more

This was our fourth stay at this hotel and I think it was the best. The staff is great, the room was clean and quiet. It was an unexpected treat to get vouchers for the breakfast buffet since I was a priority club member. The cookies in the evening were wonderful. more

We were pleasantly surprised by what a gem this hotel turned out to be! From the friendly bartenders to the fantastic location, we couldn't have been more pleased. It was a lovely walk to Fenway (less than a mile!) and just a few blocks from the beautiful main streets of Brookline. The Green Line was directly across the street for... more

Our host Star was amazing. When I told her how bad Expedia treated us, she upgraded our room, found parking for our huge box truck and got us great rates for the week. We couldn't be more pleased. Especially with the location, which is walkable to Fenway and lots of great dinning / shopping etc. more

I stayed here with my partner over St. Paddy's day weekend...It was my first time ever staying in a Holiday Inn. I was expecting it to be kind of "dumpy," as we usually stay in 4 star hotels like the Omni Parker House. However, despite the construction (and resulting messiness) in the hallways (new carpet had just gone in) our... more

My husband was having a total hip replacement at Brigham and Women's hospital and was scheduled to be at the hospital at 5:30 AM. Monday morning. We arrived at the hotel to check in and received a warm welcome and wonderful service. Monday morning we got a wake up call for 4:30 AM, drove to the Hospital and once my... more

I had read various reviews about the hotel and expected the worst. It was not bad: yes, the whole place was in the process of being decorated; yes, one day work outside my corridor started at 8:20am; yes, you had to navigate your way through the entrance in order to get to the reception. However, the rooms wer reasonably spacious... more
