"Oldie worldie" American B&B. Staff relaxed and helpful, quiet area, Breakfasts excellent, stored beer in fridge, nice to talk to fellow residents in the morning. Stayed in mockingbird room delightful, lovely bed. Not far from t line and shops in Brookline. Made a real change from souless corporate hotels. Would go back. Only down side I flew 6000 miles and... My husband & I stayed @ Beechtree in Oct (he was on business, I did a little shopping & sightseeing:) This is the best place to stay if you're visiting Boston. It is so close to everything, the "T" is just steps away, with a quick ride into the city, although there are plenty of restaurants in Brookline if you... More

Loved this charming house with a interesting history. We loved our room and the yummy goodies always available in the kitchen were so nice. Breakfast was great and nice to sit at one table and visit with some of the other guests Janette was very helpful since neither of us had spent much time in Boston and needed some help... More

This place is a short walk away from the "T" line into Boston and the many attractions that lie there to be explored. Our room (7a) was very spacious, comfortable and clean. A very nice shower, no bath which we did not mind, in the bathroom with plenty of good towels. The bed did speak a lot when you first... More

A delightful B&B with a very charming hostess. Great room, great breakfast, and the endless supply of freshly baked cakes and coffee from the kitchen was very welcome! Highly recommended, would definitely return.

we're Florida Grandparents visiting our grandson at Boston Conservatory. This charming bed & breakfast in the heart of Brookline was perfect for us, forget the big overpriced hotels around the corner. Janette is the hostess with the mostest. Other reviews say it all. Enough said!

This is a great place to stay just outside the heart of downtown Boston. Take the T just 2 blocks away at St Paul station to go to your downtown destinations. You definitely don't want to drive in this city. The streets are too narrow and the Boston drivers are impatient and reckless. Continental breakfast with cereals, oatmeal, fruit breads,... More

We loved our stay at the Beech Tree B and B. The home has old charm with new modern conveniences. The host was very approachable, friendly and helpful with any questions we had navigating throughout Boston. The room was delightful, roomy, and nicely decorated. Every morning we had excellent breakfast, freshly baked goods (baked in house), fruit cups, various breads... More

Beautifully restored older Victorian home located in an upscale neighborhood two blocks from the Green Circle T-line (St Paul Street stop), and four blocks from the Coolidge Corner commercial district(many and varied restaurants, shops, movie theater, Starbucks, etc). The owner and hostesses are very friendly and helpful. There are many home-made baked goodies at breakfast and through the day(a obvious... More

We were told of this place by friends who usually give the best recommendations. Consider us a friend and we totally recommend it. We had a room with a private bath which was very, very clean. It was close to the "T" and some stores. If you need to get around Boston this place will do it for you. The... More
