Beautifully restored older Victorian home located in an upscale neighborhood two blocks from the Green Circle T-line (St Paul Street stop), and four blocks from the Coolidge Corner commercial district(many and varied restaurants, shops, movie theater, Starbucks, etc). The owner and hostesses are very friendly and helpful. There are many home-made baked goodies at breakfast and through the day(a obvious... More

We were told of this place by friends who usually give the best recommendations. Consider us a friend and we totally recommend it. We had a room with a private bath which was very, very clean. It was close to the "T" and some stores. If you need to get around Boston this place will do it for you. The... More

The inn is located very centrally with east walking access to the train, restaurants, shopping and night life. The rooms are very clean and comfortable! It has a very homey feel, which is nice when staying away from home! The treats put out for snacking and breakfast were absolutely delicious! We ate outside on the patio which was lovely! The... We booked the Beech Tree Inn via the internet and wow, what a little gem of a place. As soon as we walked through the door it felt as though we were being greeted by a member of our family, Janette made us feel so welcome and was the perfect host. The smell of freshly baked cakes and muffins wafted... More

I made a very poor choice to stay at Beech Tree inn for my son's graduation. It was a blemish in what should have been a perfect trip. From the moment I arrived, the person Janette put a damper on my enthusiasm and excitement by her total unfriendly persona. Every interaction was worse than the previous one - her disdain... More

In town for a family birthday and were lucky we could stay at our favorite inn as it was graduation weekend. Conversation around the dining room table was about celebrations and futures and making friends. One gentleman said he could stay there all day just to share life's stories. The dining room had been freshened since our last visit, as... More

Arrived after 10pm from the West Coast, to a warm house filled w aroma of baked goods. The cozy atmosphere, private room with bath, walking distance and accessible to many restaurants, college campuses, more than one pharmacy, Trader Joes, and several historic attractions make this Inn worth revisiting. Janette takes excellent care of all the guests and keeps extremely busy... More

I travel to Boston several times a year both for work and family visits. The Beech Tree is always my first choice. THe staff are just wonderful, and the food is first rate (both breakfast and goodies left out for snacks all day). I have stayed in many different rooms, and all are pleasant and very comfortable. It is a... More

We stayed at this wonderful B&B this past Friday night. We were lucky in that normally it is a two night stay minimum but they happened to have a room for one night. We stayed in Room 1 (The Front Porch) and it was very nice. Queen size bed, closet, desk and chair. This room does not have a bathroom... More

Very good experience at the Beach Tree Inn. Janette, the host was very nice. The breakfast was really good, which is not the case in many BB I've stayed to (fruits, eggs, yogurts, cakes...). I woud highly recommend this place.
