Close to public transportation, Trader Joe's, resturants, JFK's childhood home and downtown Boston. Always snacks in the lobby, great for when you have been walking all day and need a snack and a drink and a place to rest up for the evenings activity. Helpful staff! Got us tickets for the Duck Tour for the next morning! Got a heater... more

This began as a college tour of the Boston area. We loved everything about this place. We chose Room 7 on the second floor based on the photos on the inn's website. The room surprisingly was the original master bedroom of the house. The inn has 14 rooms...each has a private bathroom and shower. Decor was gorgeous. Robes were provided,... more

We booked at short notice and were delighted with this inn and would definitely stay here again if coming to Boston. The inn is really close to a T-line stop and we could get into the centre of Boston in about 15-20 mins. The local area is really safe and there are plenty of restaurants/cafes within a five minute walk.... more

It was very easy getting to this lovely B&B. Just a short taxi ride from the airport (about $20 I think) and then you can get the 'T' Line around Boston. The train stop is a very short (5 min) safe walk from the house and gets you into town in about 20 minutes or less. I did have to... more

I stayed at the Samuel Sewell for a week in October 2009 to be close to school during a particularly intensive week at school (I am finishing up an MBA at a nearby school). Usually I commute from my home on Cape Cod, but this week I needed to be at school every day for long stretches, so I booked... more

This inn is within walking distance of the T. It has a wonderful and extensive breakfast, and the rooms are very spacious. We were in room 3 and I had a bit of trouble with the bed. The pillow top mattress was a bit too fluffy. It was difficult for me to get comfortable, although my husband thought it was... more

This was our first trip to Boston and we loved everything about Sewall Inn. Yes, you do have to pay $15/day to park but that is minimal compared to other places. The breakfast was great, snacks available 24 hrs & a nice fridge to keep personal food items. The location was so close to a main T line & the staff... more

My boyfriend and I planned a trip to see a band (Mew) in Boston and needed a place to stay that was close to the Paradise Rock Club. I searched Google maps for hotels nearby and found several that were close but quite expensive, and then by accident I found the Samuel Sewall Inn, whose price, location, and rooms were... more
