My wife and I stay in the hotel often. It is convenient to our family in Brookline. It is walking distance to Coolidge Corner and numerous shops and restaurants. The rooms are comfortable, but need updating (old carpets etc). The bistro is nice but no free breakfast here. The staff is very friendly. My grandkids love the pool! We need... More

This hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants, making it easy and pleasant to have a meal or tour the streets. The location of my room, at the end of a quiet hall, facing the back of some shops, was excellent. However, there were some problems in the room itself. First, the mattress was quite mushy and my first night... More

Hotels in Boston are expensive. Nearly as expensive as New York, but this one being slightly out of the City was somewhat more reasonable. It was recommended by a colleague who lives nearby (and could therefore pick me up & take me to our office). He tells me the hotel has been completely refurbished within the last couple of years.... We chose this hotel because it was close to Young Israel of Boston (6 minute walk), kosher shops and facilities. Not only was the hotel clean and comfotable with good sized rooms with all the facilities you would expect, but the staff were very helpful over Shabbat . The hotel is right by the C line trolley at Coolidge Corner... More

We really enjoyed our stay last weekend. The front desk staff literally could not have been friendlier. In the lobby was flavored water and cookies to greet us. The staff in the Bistro literally made us sad to leave. They were so accomodating of my picky eaters and were beyond gracious. There was also a beautiful courtyard which provided a... More

We chose this hotel initially because of its proximity to our new apartment. We realized later what a great choice it was. The Courtyard was also close to the T and various amenities in the area. It was very convenient especially when we had kids that we need to buy stuff for. The room was comfortable enough for the kids... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night while we passed back through Boston on a trip through New England. The hotel was a short walk from the T, which provided quick access to downtown for some additional exploring. The hotel looked like the lobby had been recently renovated and the rooms were typical of what you would expect... More

Great hotel with all amenity you want: indoor pool, gym, courtyard, and friendly/knowledgable front desk personal. The rate per night is quite expensive $242....could've of stay in a arnbnb or cheaper spot.

Friendly staff and good location. Updated lobby and cool courtyard. The room was pretty standard for a Marriott - our bathroom fan didn't work, but no biggie for us. Still pretty pricey for a hotel outside of Boston proper, but it's Boston... We stayed here anyway for proximity to our friend who resides in Brookline. Walking distance to shops and... More

This is the first negative review I have posted on trip advisor. This Marriott is old and dirty, sorely in need of a facelift. The staff were very nice, overly helpful actually. The location is great. The property, well frankly I have never been to such an unkept Marriott. The halls were littered with specks of trash. The room itself... More
