We were looking for a clean, convenient place to stay while we played in the city, and we found it. Reasonable price, internet service, fridge in our room, quiet, delicious breakfast (WAY more than just a bagel; cereal, fruits, excellent jams from France, peanut butter and cream cheese, all kinds of beverages), helpful staff and whimsical decorations. We had a... More

Stayed here for an unexpectedly long fortnight. It was very convenient to walk to Harvard Medical School area and even though I (as a girl) was walking back from lab by myself after mid-night each night there was no sign of danger. Beds (I switched between a few rooms because of my schedule changes) and restrooms are clean and relatively... More

The price was good, so I shouldn't complain. But compared to a slightly more expensive B&B I've stayed at in Brookline, this was less enjoyable. I stayed here twice, so two rooms. Both were very hot, due to a single heating system, so I had to have the windows open all the time, which meant more noise. The larger and... More

This bed & breakfast is homey, clean, and comfortable. The staff people were welcoming and helpful, offering us information about local attractions. The house itself is a fascinating old Victorian located in Brookline, close to public transportation, restaurants, and many interesting shops. Breakfasts included bagels, cereal, fruit & juice, and coffee. We would certainly stay here the next time we're... More

My daughter and I found this great victorian bed and breakfast! It had a warm, friendly atmosphere. Staff was great. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Lots of little antiques and unique decorating. We found some great little shops nearby. They served fresh bagels, coffee and fruit in the morning. Very nice. Would definately come back again! More

So glad to have found this little gem in Brookline! I travel for business a fair amount, and love when I can find such homey places in bigger cities to rest my head for a night or two. The staff was totally accommodating to my lack of public transportation knowledge (I'm from Los Angeles) and helped me get around the... More

Ok!!!! Are you serious. This place was awful! I agree with every word that the may 13th post said. I'm serious people. We left at 6:00 pm after the owner asked us to leave our keys in case they needed to play musical cars with our vehicle that shared a driveway with 3 other cars. And might I add the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days in late September and were disappointed with the service we received. When I made the reservation, I specified that we were taking a red-eye and would arrive in the morning. The reservation coordinator said to check back the day before we left to see if our room would... More

the guest house is a lovely homey experience. The furnishings are somewhat reminiscent of grandma's house, but mostly in a charming way. Everything was very clean and the sheets were LOVELY and soft. The Breakfast was rather sparse for a bed and breakfast - a bagel apiece with a yogurt, some fruit, and only plain cream cheese. And because there... More
