The guys were very friendly and accomodating. They helped us find our way around the city. The room was pleasant and adaquate. The breakfast was nice, but no place to sit inside the building. The location was fairly quiet compared to in town, which was about a 10-15 minute drive. We would consider staying here again. more

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and intend to return. Our daughter goes to Boston College and we were looking for a place to stay that has some character, is clean, and is conveniently located. The Beacon Inn delivers in all areas. The rooms are spacious with brand new flat screen TVs. All three rooms that we have... more

I just booked a room here after reading the first few reviews. They sounded pretty good. I was looking for a reasonably priced room for one night as my daughter and I transit through Boston. If you go straight to the booking page there is no written policy regarding the deposit policy. After I foolishly entered my credit card information... more

My daughters go to school in Boston and I visit them often, usually a week at a time. Of the many stays in Boston over the past 3 years, this was the most comfortable, friendly, quite and convenient stay without the large price tag. The T stop is steps away from the Inn and can get you to the fenway... more

From the moment I entered the building and received assistance from the person at the front desk until the time I left a week later I felt at ease and at home. The staff was informative friendly and eager to help. Traveling alone as a woman and walking to Boston College I felt safe. The neighborhood was clean and had... more

I actually found this through Orbitz but made my reservation directly online through their web site. I am already planning on going back at the end of October, but this time, stay at the 1087 Beacon Street location. It is a lot closer to where my daughter is at Boston University, but I loved where I was too. Everything is... more

The young lady greeting us was most courteous and helpful. The room was clean, it had internet access and since we made arrangement ahead there was car parking. Breakfast was incldued and while the lobby was a bit tight we were able to manage very nicely. The only issues were lack of elevator and while there was parking for a... more

For Boston, the Beacon Inn is extremely competitively priced, and located next to the T which stops above ground only minutes away from the front door. This part of Brookline is quiet and within a block of the BB you are immersed in another world of beautiful older upscale homes, with gardens galore. A great place to walk. The neighborhhood is... more

I was hesitant to stay at the Beacon Inn 1750 because I assumed that if it was so affordable, there must be a catch. The "catch" was pure Boston charm. The Inn has the feel of a quaint bed and breakfast but each room has a private bathroom with all the amenities, cable tv, and air conditioning. If you're looking... more
