This place was just classy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely go back. The whole building was very clean and comfortable, and it was nicely decorated. We felt completely safe in the neighborhood and did quite a bit of walking around nearby Beacon Street. The Bertram is very accomodating to pets without sacrificing the quality of the anything,... more

The Bertram is a block from the "T," serves a great breakfast and and has snacks out all the time. The staff was more than friendly and our room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. I will stay there again, but will ask for a room on the third floor to avoid hearing someone walking above me. There are bathrobes... more

My sister, daughter and I stayed here to visit my niece in college, and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly, our room was beautiful, and the service was wonderful. Breakfast was very good - and we liked all the snacks that were out. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it highly! more

I had to go to Boston on New Year's Eve for work the next day (stinks, but that's life). My company wanted to put me up in the Sheraton in Newton, "We just want to keep costs down with the current economy..." So I decided to do a quick search of the web and found a couple of B&B's closer... more

First time visiting Boston, but places in city had high parking charges. We chose this great B&B which had a much smaller additional parking fee and loved it. Very charming, cozy place, but very spacious. Very close to the charming area of Brookline with lots of shops and restaurants. This was one block from the T stop, so extremely convenient... more

Brookline' Coolidge Corner is one of the most charming neighborhoods in the Boston area, and the Bertram Inn is a great place to stay to see the sights. The Bertram is cute, with very comfortable beds, and a pretty good breakfast in the morning. The staff are very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when I want... more

You can enjoy a stay in the burbs and take the "T" into Boston. B&B is lovely. Breakfast is superb! Only down fall for us was the room temperature was kept too warm. We had to keep the windows open to cool it down. Guess that comes with a B&B? more

Everything, absolutely everything, was spectacular; everyone we came in contact with was delightful, helpful, warm and engaging; the room was beautiful, the entire house is comfortable and welcoming as well as magnificent; the amenities- the small things as well as the obvious- make the Bertram Inn very special and unique; from the coffee and snacks in the living room to... more

The Bertram Inn is a GEM. If you are tired of cookie cutter lodgings, give them a try. Accommodations were wonderful, food was adequate and inventive and the staff was exemplary. We will be back. more

My company has an office in Cambridge, and after five nights at the Hyatt we crossed the river and spent a wonderful night at the Bertram Inn. Our room was lovely, the staff was gracious and the breakfast offering was expansive. What a contrast the the very sorry Hyatt. I am recommending the Bertram Inn for any co-workers who will... more
