It's a great old house converted into an Inn with perhaps 10 rooms. It's incredibly charming. They serve breakfast everyday (continental + one or two hot items) and they have snacks out all day. The main room has a fireplace and comfy couches, plus there is a nice sun room where you can hang out and work. I would definitely... More

My husband and I needed a place to stay near the Longwood Hospital area and found this B&B on Tripadvisor. From the moment we entered the front door we were treated wonderfully, All the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. (We stayed in room #2-the Library). Breakfast was tasty and there was a large... More

This place is the most welcoming place I have visited for a long time. Came with my two children and we enjoyed the cosy atmosfare - fire place, tee, coffee and homemade cookies. Lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful and always available. We love it and we will return!

I hesitate to recommend this B and B because is it so perfect and I want a room to be available when I call. The house is lovely, the location convenient, the staff helpful and nice, and they take dogs!!!

A peaceful and charming oasis in Boston! We stayed here while attending a conference and our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer and spend more time in this quaint and quiet space. The innkeepers are wonderful and the hone is just gorgeous. It's also very affordable by Boston standards.

My daughter and I stayed Super Bowl weekend (Saturday night) as we were attending "Eagle Day"at Boston College.. The Inn is only a short drive to BC so the location was perfect. There is a gym and many restaurants within easy walking distance even in the snow. Our room 14 was up a couple of flights of stairs so be... More

I stayed at The Bertram Inn for three nights recently while visiting my son, a Boston University student. The Inn is lovely and I enjoyed my stay, however there were a couple of things that need attention. The carpet in my room (#15) was visibly dirty and worn. No amount of vacuuming would solve the problem. It needs to be... More

After several stays here and the now closed sister inn (Sewall Inn), we have to write to say how convenient and comfortable all our stays have been. On-site parking, great breakfasts, comfortable beds, easy access to the T, walking distance to BU.... All of our needs and wants are met. We love staying in a place with a neighborhood feel.

This was our first trip to Boston, and I wanted to stay in a place with historic significance. My husband booked us in the Bertram Inn and I loved it from the moment I walked in the doors. It's charming! The service is superb and the room was huge! Everything was clean and the bed super luxurious. The towels were... More

Our family stayed, for the second year in a row, at a wonderful bed and breakfast in Boston (Brookline). The Bertram Inn is a beautiful, old mansion, with exquisite rooms and furnishings, a fabulous breakfast (no fast-food; it is cooked, each morning, from scratch) and attentive staff, who can even get you tickets to the Red Sox and other sporting...
